Oh well I found about 20 new dates. But nothing close to Channel Island...

If you have dates that can be added please let me know. Goal is to have a complete list of all the concerts Meat Loaf did:twisted:

Only 2 concerts in Eastern Europe-Hungary(1987,1994):(

Big thanks to Andy for updating the new dates to the tourdates topic. I think I have the 1983 tour as good as complete. There were some cities planned (such as Amsterdam) but they never happened. So it seems complete.

As for other dates. I hope people will post missing dates (or catch a mistake) In the meantime I keep up searching for other dates as well. We made great progress since the list was first put up. Let;'s try to make it complete! :D

 Meat mentioned on stage in Manchester that his first UK show for in Manchester, and he said it again in a recent interview on another thread.
Is the London show deffinatly confirmed (was it possibly cancelled?) or is Meat's memory playing up on that point?

I don't really understand what you're saying. Are you talking about a specific year, tour?

EDIT: I think I get it Meat mentioned on stage in Manchester that his first UK show WAS in Manchester,

I don't think that London gig got cancelled. I got it confirmed by a picture of a torn stub. Perhaps he played Manchester before London as I don't have all the 77/78 dates yet. There is a big gap between the last US and first UK date of 3 weeks. Perhaps his tour started end May in the UK.

The Flying Mouse 26 Mar 2013 00:45

 Sorry, typing faster than I was thinking again

You're quite right, I meant "was" not "for" (how that happened I don't know :wtf: ).

That sounds like a good explaination.

BTW, i've got a ticket stub from that Manchester gig. The date given is Monday 5th June, but the day has been scribbled out and replaced with "Sun" and the 5 has a number 4 inked over it with a pen.
That would go along with gthe date we have already on the list.

It makes me thing that the date was brought forward by one night, or that there was a mistake made when printing the tickets.

Adje 26 Mar 2013 00:51

Or perhaps he played it 2 nights in a row?

The problem with the old dates is that they are hard to get and even harder to get them confirmed.

 But if that were the case, why change the date on the ticket?
Unless they had printed two sets of tickets with the same date on.

I'll try and get a pic of the ticket uploaded tomorrow

BTW, the original price of admission was the princely sum of £2.50.
It must have been before ticket master :lawl:

The Flying Mouse 26 Mar 2013 01:08

 Funny enough, i've just done an image search for Meat Loaf ticket 1978, and it brought me here

It looks just like the ticket I have (the row on that ticket looks like P, where the row on mine is F). The seller also mentions the date on the ticket being changed.

Adje 26 Mar 2013 01:12

How weird.

I believe I have a picture of the stub in my collection. I have to look. But if all the dates are corrected they should have charged more than 2,50. Only for administration costs

chairboys 26 Mar 2013 14:40

I can't see the original Royal Albert Hall show on the list. This is the one he played for the Prince's Trust. I forget when it was but I think it was on the tail end of the Bat2 tour?
Prince Charles' standing with me rocketed skywards that night and I won't have a bad word said about him. He's part of the Meat Loaf brotherhood.

Adje 26 Mar 2013 15:30

The concert you're talking about is from November 17 1994 in the Royal Albert Hall.

It will be there in the next update ;)

Guy 24 Aug 2013 09:46

15th Feb 1990. Ulster Hall, Belfast.

LucyK! 25 Aug 2013 11:01

I guess we need to add Newmarket, Newbury and all of the Vegas dates!

Adje 25 Aug 2013 11:55

I'm gonna spam Andy's PM box today or tomorrow. Also have some other dates that I added the last few months. ;)

AndyK 25 Aug 2013 12:02

I'll look forward to it :))

Renegade Angel 25 Aug 2013 20:53

I could be wrong here but when I saw Meat in Manchester in 1993 I remember him saying the first time he played in UK was in Manchester and was for top of the pops or some other TV show so not technically a gig but a TV show, this could explain it?

FYI, the date in Edmonton on the Hang Cool Tour was cancelled... and never made up for. Still kind of bitter about that one.
