Steve6 22 Oct 2010 15:40

The battery went dead in my car, it's all sort now though.

Sue K 22 Oct 2010 16:11

I'm happy to continue to have state stores in Pennsylvania. State stores sell bottled liquor and are owned by the state of PA. The issue has come up to be rid of the state stores and allow liquor to be sold by stores. I'm good with having to go out my way to buy liquor and good with other folks having to do same. Let's see, my homeTown has opened a casino, now folks want liquor sold in grocery stores. Time to legalize hookers, I guess ... ... lol...

Thanks for the advice :-). I already did find a dentist here in the states, and surprisingly it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Anyway my insurance will cover the expense when I get back. So it's anti-biotics and painkillers till I see my dentist next week. Whether the tooth can be saved is another question ...

Dave

Yay for Saturday ! Sorry to hear about the toothAche, particularly since you're on hols. That's just wrong in the world's scheme of things. Earaches and toothaches, two of the worse pains in world, imo.

Sue K 24 Oct 2010 13:25

Tomorrow's trash pick up day. I really have to get my butt in gear today and start cleaning out the basement and going through boxes and sorting. The holiday months are upon us. Next Sunday is Halloween and before we know it, Thanksgiving then Christmas and at this millisecond in time I'm feeling in a holiday mood. If I have to dance around ignoring the glum faces in my hut, so be it... hahaha ...

I'll tell you what, I honestly can't remember the last time I looked forward to tour this much! It was different building up to Casa De Carne, I was looking forward to it but the last time we'd seen Meat was Newcastle so there were a lot of nerves and I really felt he shouldn't be doing it....this time he can't get here soon enough for me! :cheer:

Law & Order:SVU ~ a 2010 episode ~ pretty raunchy, imo, for the first on scene ME to refer to a dead woman's vagina as a "hootchie hoo" and then apologize by saying sometimes the dead aren't like people anymore... wtf ? I hope that character hits the road quick ... ...

Oh, dear, sorry to hear. Hugz... but be patient. You never know where you will find love again. My first husband I found sitting in my parents' kitchen when I returned from shopping. He was a friend of a guy my sister was dating. Now mind you, I escaped that marriage due to it becoming abusive and other things. However, I did get a wonderful daughter (who just yesterday told me I'm her best friend sending me into a bout of weeping and she's 36 now) and three lovely grandies out of it , so there you go. Now, second AND LAST ... lol ... time around husband, he was my newspaper delivery person so I literally found him AND my newspapers on my front doorstep ... lol ... I married first time at 21 and that lasted 13 years. Second time around love hit at age 35 and that's gone strong now for 24 years ! So there ya go. Just be patient and love will come to you. Plus it's fun window shopping, no ? ... ;) ... lol ...

the router was much much cooler with its original 9v power supply, but it works as both a router and a radiator on 12v lol

Sue K 03 Nov 2010 13:15

I'm glad the campaigning and midterm elections are over here in the States. Now to all work together, go onward and upward and sort out the mess the former administration left behind in its wake. A mess of eight years cannot be repaired in two. Good luck to all involved and that's pretty much the world unless the States were to fall back to the isolationist ways of the former administration.

Yes, imo too, Michael, it is ! It's a very favorite film of mine, the original starring Robert Preston, that is. I played flute in school from age 8 to 17 and was in band and orchestra. I went to see the film when it came out. I just checked. I was ... lol ... 11 years old in 1962... lol ... and I came away with a life long crush on Robert Preston, wanting to be Marion the Librarian and forever lovin' a parade ! ... :D ...

Now I'm sitting here listening to songs from Disney films... lol ... drinking peach tea with honey and ohmmm'ing out... lol ...
