total nightmare,my daughter had similar problem last year,every other week the girls were coming home with them,and the kids with the lice were not being sent home,when my daughter refused to send them to school unless something was done she got into trouble,hope they get it sorted soon

It's absolutely ridiculous that a parent can get into trouble for not sending their kid to school because the school is lice infested. Yet the school can't send kids home who have lice.

I'm so glad that I'm not working today but it's a shame I've got to go to the dentist.

Have to do something today that i know is going to upset me, but it has to be done, so just have to get on with it. My arms ache with emptiness, dunno when that might change, if at all.....

Well, perhaps you won't hear of it as you remind me about yesterday. There was police tape blocking off the sidewalk outside two houses down the block from me. The police were still on location when the local news station's van arrived. I asked a man on the porch of one house surrounded by tape what happened ? He shakes head and shrugs. I was on way to bus stop asking people who, imo, had the answer to what happened, but not a soul would tell and the news was never carried on the tv. Weird, hunh ?

Yesterday a couple people stopped outside to chat and I overheard one ask the other if he'd heard about the elderly man who got hit by a car. Maybe that was it. Still there's been nothing on news. That would make some sense. Perhaps the man was hit and staggered onto the sidewalk and that's why that bit of sidewalk was blocked.

I hope he wasn't severely hurt. I just heard another loud BANG :shock:, at about the same time as yesterday and from the same direction. :?

Maybe there's construction work going on nearby of which you're not aware ? That happens near my neighborhood sometimes.
