AndrewG 20 Jul 2008 03:04

I love guitar hero too. Was disappointed with the new Aerosmith one though as "Amazing", "Cryin'", "Crazy" and "I don't want to miss a thing" are definitely missing. My favourite 4 Aerosmith tracks...!!!!

never decide to have one last check around the forums before going to bed...managed to delay my trip to bed by a further 15 minutes. anyway, i'm off now or tomorrow will be spent dozing, and I don't get enough time off work as it is!!

g'nite folks, enjoy your drinks!

New manager has just left for the day.

Blimey. I thought I spoke fast. Just having a conversation with that woman is enough to send my blood pressure sky high! I need a stiff drink I think!

And I still have 8 million jobs to do... so here ends my 30 second break into insanity and back I go to the grindstone... :(

(Mike if this continues I'll be needing to call in sick on alternate days, just so that I can work from home and get some 'real work' done without her pestering me every two minutes!)

Not those neighbours ...lol.......the bloody t**sers next door that are driving me nuts.....:wall:

MissAsh 21 Jul 2008 20:27

Know what you mean about next door neighbours... judging by the decibel level coming from my neighbours at lunchtime, Elvis had risen again and was playing live in her kitchen!

~Helen~ 21 Jul 2008 20:49

I know what you mean about neighbours too...I work as technical support for the equivalent of our Council's Town Wardens...I get calls about neighbour disputes ALL the time. One day this bloke rang who had already been to ask his next door BUT ONE neighbours to turn the music down (which they had, to some extent) yet I could hear the music, quite clearly down the phone. Even though he was inside his house. It's maddening what some people think is acceptable and what is not.

Maybe the neighbours should be part of the survey done by the mortgage company now ;) and of course any new neighbours would need to provide references and existing neighbour approval before being permitted to move in to a property?*

(*I have already thought of a flaw to my plan...my current neighbour would have been allowed to move there under this system...but she's lived there 18 years and now has a 15 year old son who understandably - being 15, stays up half the night when she is working nights playing video games and playing music. How do I know this? Because it's so loud I thought the other night that it was actually inside my own house, and I could still hear it with ear plugs in! But, he doesn't do it all the time, only when she's at work. So it could be worse!)

~Helen~ 21 Jul 2008 20:52

Why...does Morrisons Cola taste like Haribo Cola Bottles, but Coca Cola, and Pepsi, does not?

Why...did the DPD Package Delivery people describe the location they left my package (inside my recycling bin) as a safe place? How is that safe? What if I hadn't been home to see the note?

AndrewG 21 Jul 2008 20:57

Meat Loaf and the NLE ripped the absolute shit out of Bat out of Hell at Blickling Hall. One of the best versions I've witnessed hearing live.

Monstro 21 Jul 2008 20:59

Why don't cheesecakes taste like they used too?

Battybarb 21 Jul 2008 23:45

Because they forgot the cheese !!!!

Lord Kagan 21 Jul 2008 23:47

how come people always wonder about the name Meat Loaf when there's a band around called Limp Bizkit?

MeatGrl1 22 Jul 2008 14:11

I'm tired.
Weekend is still at the very forfront of my mind, now I've floated back down to earth a little.. Highlights have to be hearing the following live finally;

This Is The Moment
Empty Chairs At Empty Tables
Tell Me It's Not True
Don't Stop Me Now/I Don't Feel Like Dancing
Love Changes Everything

The whole Les Mis section was awesome, He did an absolutely fantastic rendition of I Know Where I've Been from Hairspray, few of us agreed he should record it.
Michael looked like he was on top of the world and having fun :metal: .
Seeing Rachel Wooding again was a surprise, she plays Amber VonTussel in Hairspray, it was nice to see her away from that role and she has an incredible voice and did a mind blowing performance of I Dreamed A Dream.
Can't stop watching this;

Noticed he touched his throat a few times through the show but his voice never faultered. I can't believe I've waited seventeen years to see him, I will definatly go see him alot more now  and meeting him afterwards was amazing.

mszee 22 Jul 2008 14:21

First and foremost sign of senility...when Andy posts A & L it takes me a good moment to think what L stands for...on the other hand...I finally got sleeping pills and slept a whole 2 hours last night...geez...

Oh Marvin'd be welcome to come & live with me any day if it were up to me....though sadly not whilst I'm still residing at my parents whose no pets rule is more strict than my old landlord!
