why is it obvious.

no disrespect but you werent even 5yrs old when this was in the charts so maybe we remember things a little better

i cant speak for other countries but i was a teenager when this came out and Meat was far from cool, to say other places followed suit implies that he was a trend and he sure as hell wasnt, in fact i used to take a hell of a lot of stick for listening to him but AFL grabbed their attention and many people i knew had bought it. Just because you'renot keen on it some others are...i know alot of non-meat fans who love that song but hate everything else he has done :shrug:
i think there is a reason why he performs it at every show ;)

anyway a classic for me

They played it in America ad nauseum...on every radio station - non-stop...so oh yes...it was definitely a hit...

A truly emotional song Jim and Meat both cracked the jackpot on this one and and "took the feelings right out of my heart" I love this song and it describes actually how and what I would and wont do for love :)
