Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

I love the dual between Dumbledore and Voldemort. Ralph Fiennes is amazing.

The Lovely Bones.... Brilliant film but the book is better x

The Human Centipede - absolutely HORRID, but macabre curiosity kept me watching!

Sue K 01 Jan 2012 16:37

I have TWO most recents that I watched fully ... lol ... Usually I'm putting on a film and nodding off using it for white noise at night... HOWEVER ... lol ... I watched Red Riding Hood. That held my interest and I kept asking aloud... "who is it... WHO IS IT" ... during most of the film ... lol ... and then.. there was... omgoodness... a film called Black Sheep. Too freakin' much and CRAZY !!! and... baaaaahed ... lol ... but with what I consider one of the most fabulous "death" scenes ever "filmed" (it was a bit brief and probably ... well... SURELY ... computerized ... lol ... ). It's put Lizard's death scene in The 51st State aka Formula 51 into second place on my list of death scenes that make you laugh your arse off ... lol ... This film was made in New Zealand and is about experiments being done on sheep. I'm not even sure of the "why", but what happens after some of the waste from the experiments gets accidently dumped out in open field as opposed to in a landfill proper is just... lol ... well... nutty !!! ... Think... wereSheep or zombieSheep/people... rolling ... Bad for Good, I'd call this one ... hahaha ... KABOOOOM !!! ... hahaha ...

Super 8. Terrific stuff. Like a classic 70's Spielberg film, quite superb.

Sherlock Holmes 2 - great fun, and much more coherent than the first!

Twilight Breaking Dawn - quite funny for once. Not outstanding by any stretch.

I have not sat and watched a film from intro to credits for some time now ... I woke in middle of night to find that Wishcraft was on so clicked on in time to see our Meat as Sparky the police person ... lol ... He was pretty good in that one. I have planned to sit for an entire watch of The Irishman which features my second fave actor, but number one fantasy man, Vincent D'Onofrio ... :D ... I had a laugh yesterday when darling husband was surfing about the tv, watching mostly Benny and Joon starring the deppie one ... and I was bopping about the hut ... Husband calls out to me "do you want to see the part where he swings past the window ?" ... HE knowsssssssssss ... lol ...

Mission Impossible 4. Very entertaining. Probably the best of the franchise.

Happy Monday, meatie peeps !

Lacking the ability to find anything else to interest me on the boobToob last night... lol ... I settled on watching a bit of Capote starring ... oh geez... the actor with three names who won the Oscar for Best Actor. Capote was a bit of a ... creepy little guy, no ? ... lol ... And all about Truman ... lol ...

Good news for me, though ! The King's Speech has finally hit On Demand on the Comcast service, so you BETcha that's on the list of films I must see...

Now just to find the time to set aside for an in-house movie date night with darling husband ! ... lol ...

THE DEVIL INSIDE

Do NOT waste your money (I already did)

The Flying Mouse 13 Jan 2012 19:37

 Usual Suspects.
Classic 8)
Best part is when they're in the line up and pissing about as they take their turn to read what's on the card :lmao:

Sherlock Holmes: Game Of Shadows

Felt the plot could have been a bit stronger and more coherent and Moriarty needed a stronger character actor. Other than that it was very enjoyable, especially for Stephen Fry as Mycroft (naked not so much so lol).
