I think "hyperintense" is a good description. I'm not sure how I felt about it. Did you think the ending was real, or not?

 The Flower Of Carnage - Meiko Kaji.

Watched Equilibrium last night ... interesting concept, but I wouldn't recommend it.

 I've seen it a couple of times over the years.
Not a film i'd say run out and buy, but worth a watch if it comes on the telly and there's nothing else on.

was it well balanced?

Monstro 13 Feb 2011 02:43

Watched the Expendables tonight, was ok

Hypnobabe 13 Feb 2011 11:33

Air Force One was on last night so I watched it... Prefer the same concept with Kurt Russell - can't remember offhand what it's called - purely for the fact of Steven Seagal getting mullered and consequently being unable to singlehandedly save the world....

Was that Executive Decision?

Isn't

Technically the last film we saw was about 20 minutes of Rocky Horror...doesn't matter how many times I've seen it or even whether I own it or not, if a Meat film is on I feel obliged to keep it on 'til I've seen him!

The Flying Mouse 13 Feb 2011 17:34

 It.
Not watched that movie in a while.
It's nowhere near as screwed up as the book

Tangled. Very funny - felt like classic Disney retooled for modern audiences. Beats any of the Shrek films over the head with a frying pan. The mouse house definitely still knows how to make em!

Adje 13 Feb 2011 21:01

I've seen two this weekend

New Kids Turbo.

It's the Dutch movie of the year. Funny stuff, especially because they blow up my town in the movie

Tron Legacy.

I did like the first one, saw that in 1983 and a few times since. Tron Legacy was.... oh well, I like the first one.

Sarge 14 Feb 2011 00:28

La frusta e il corpo - 1960s horror flick with Christopher Lee.

RED, on BluRay. Was very well cast and performed and quite entertaining but lacked any real sparkle.

We watched this the other night and loved it. Thought the relaxed laid back approach was refreshing for an "action movie" and it fitted with the storyline perfectly, the humour was pitched perfectly too.

The King's Speech is well worth watching. Luv cx

daveake 16 Feb 2011 14:11

I watched The Game recently.

 Duets.
Not a bad time killer.

Fitzcarraldo

Crazy masterpiece! :D One of Kinski's most brilliant performances but shooting with him must have been hell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yITx7txr-7M :bicker::angst: (I wonder what would have happened if he had taken part in Celebrity Apprentice.:p)

AndyK 19 Feb 2011 13:34

Alien.

I still expect Sooty to appear in the chest exploding scene, damn you 80's comedy sketch show that I can't remember the name of (was it Not The Nine O'Clock News?)
