Salt. Great film I thought, quite underrated in fact. Angelina Jolie is fab in this, probably best film I've seen with her in it. She's quite a stunner too.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Wacky, weird, funny and great. Wasn't as overwhelmed as with Salt but still a fab time. Would def recommend.

2012, someone got to carried away with the CGI button on this one, and not in a good way like with Avatar. Avatar was a masterpiece.

Shutter Island - workd it out 30 mins into it - none the less, still a good film

I predict that the next last movie I see will be The Book Of Eli.

Good, since we've already rented it from BT Vision as a result of checking to see if they'd fixed the problems we were having.

Sue K 28 Aug 2010 10:49

Public ENEMIES ... again ... oh, just to be sure of the title ... ... lol ...

Didn't see the twist coming, but then again neither did Eli :lmao:

In The Line Of Fire -hubby's choice, but John Malkovich does make a good villain!

Ahhh, you are so correct about JM ! Totally creepy in that one. It's a fave in the tink hut ... :-) ...

Piranha 3D

God, this movie brought exploitation to a whole new level! :))

I liked all the (more or less) subtle Jaws references lol

Did Kelly look nice? ;)

I watched "Wings for Wheels - The making of Born to Run" again. Love the insight into how this came to be 35 years ago.

Really? I thought it was fairly obvious, but hey :lol

I'm about to watch either Cemetery Junction or Kick Ass. Anyone got any recommendations? Also have Burning Bright too...

Cherry.Loaf 29 Aug 2010 19:05

rewatched that one today as well, had to laugh at the "songs talking back to each other" bit

AndrewG 30 Aug 2010 01:33

Piranha 3D. Ok, they delivered what was to be expected I guess. Very gory film. Kelly Brook looked very nice. The Jaws references were well executed, but that's a much, much better film obviously.

Dinner for Schmucks. Great comedy with a good heart. Steve Carell at his movie best.

RadioMaster 30 Aug 2010 08:01

The Cave

neat little monster movie. nothing special, but a good way to spend a lazy sunday night

Sue K 30 Aug 2010 12:27

Forrest Gump. I've seen the film many, many times and have always enjoyed it. Well, apparently there's some change going on in my brain, because the film hasn't changed and is the same film I've always watched, but this time around I was left with a bad feeling in my stomach, similar to the one I get with a viewing of Slingblade. WTF is going on with me ? ... ...

allrevvedup 30 Aug 2010 12:35

expendables...mad crazy, lots of explosions and exactly what you'd expect from a Stallone action film.

*Note to those with a weak stomach, if you didn't like how graphic the last Rambo movie was you might not like this*
