It just occurred to me - once you've fully recovered from the flu your immune system will be in high gear and you'll probably feel GREAT. I hope the rest of your tour goes accordingly!

Hello. I have been lurking here for along time, but have only posted one other time. I had to this time though for this thread.

Mbrevard, thank you very much for saying everything that I have been feeling since Meat said goodbye. I have felt sick inside, that he was driven away. We all know that he was really not driven away. But he could not stay because he was too tender-hearted right now to hear bad things about his show.

I got to see one show this summer. It was the best concert I have ever seen in my entire life.

I hope that Meat reads this thread and what everyone says to him. I hope he comes back. He is missed very much!

Hi guys! Just wanted to thank those of you, I hadn't yet, who have continued to add greatly to this thread!! You have, indeed, all made this a very special topic and I continue to hope that Meat will come by, when he is ready, to read what you had to say.

With the UK tour starting tomorrow, I know we are all praying that he is feeling well again and we wish him, and the band, a wonderful, successful and satisfying tour ahead!!

Can't wait to hear about it from all of you who will be attending shows!!

I have been away for a few days so I seem to have missed everything.
MB I think your letter says everything. There is nothing that I could add to it. I only hope that Meat reads it and takes it all in. He surely must realise that 99% of us who visit this site don't give a toss what the other 1% say. Remember the saying 'Nil desperandum carborundum' (I think that right as it is a long time sonce I took latin at school) DON'T LET THE BAS.....S GRIND YOU DOWN. :roll:

Just wanted to chorus everyone else and say 'Meat Loaf you are the Daddy!!' - this is one big happy family (most of the time!) and if 'Dad's' got to work away sometimes (or if he choices not to join us on this site)we can still show him love and devotion in the words we write on this site .... big love to our Rock'n'Roll Dad!!
