Meat tends to visit here a lot when he's on tour .. understandably; he's holed up all day in his room between shows on vocal rest and is likely to be interested in seeing how people are responding. When he's busy doing other things (and he is always busy!) he tends to pop in less.

As far as FB is concerned, I'd have thought it a bigger window on his fanworld .. but if he has nothing to announce and he's busy, he's not likely to have the time to wade through all the posts which get left there every day.

We're pretty lucky imo that he takes the time to interact with his fans here and on FB as he does, and as often as he does. But I think there's nothing remarkable that since the tour he has posted less. Most recently he posted on FB in response to repeated questions about a DVD of Last at Bat, more touring etc. If he has no more hard information about that, or about the Vegas season, there's probably little reason to post. Although Frances posted about the plight of The Painted Turtle camp on his behalf .. something that matters to him a great deal.

Simple answer .. he's busy, probably has nothing particular to announce, and is doubtless fit, well and working on several projects :-)

He mentioned that Syfy was interested in the show he was filming a week or two ago but that they could not work out anything right now because he is booked up for the rest of the year. So I would expect him to be extremely busy, probably has more offers than he can handle right now.

Haha, yes, I was the one who asked him that Gosthunters question on facebook the 31th of May and I was very lucky he responded it himself.

So I know he's busy, but I was just wondering how he's doing. I guess no news is good news. :-)

Based on the performances he gave in April and May I reckon he's asleep!!

After those epic performances he definately deserves it. ;)

Only for a little bit tho :)

If anything it's probably a good thing if he's taking a break. We've all seen how stressed he gets just being Meat Loaf (for want of a better phrase), and with all he has coming up with the race course shows, Vegas, the album, TV pilot & any movies he's working on, I don't know how he keeps up the pace. Hope he's getting some time to unwind and bask in the triumph of a great and well received tour.

I doubt he's taking much of a break .. except from internet posting ;) I agree you'd expect most people to need a load of rest after the kind of tour Meat always has done .. but Meat's not most people ;) He loves what he does, and he is multi-faceted. I honestly think he recreates his prodigious energy by moving to something different and immersing himself in that :-) We know he has been working .. but the man eats creative work imo. He's spoken of those frogs jumping round his brain ;) Sometimes I wonder if some of the stress he feels when he's trapped in a hotel room somewhere may be due to so many ideas, so little time ;) He says he doesn't work for the money, and I believe him .. he works and fills his diary I think simply because he is fuelled by so many ideas, so much work that engages him, fascinates him, and that he wants to do :-) I don't think he has it in him to lie back, relax and simply bask in the pleasure of what he's done brilliantly .. however much we think he deserves that. He's on to the next challenge, the next piece of creative work, with renewed focus and vigour.

That's exactly what I was saying .. look at Meat's output in terms of tours, music, films, TV shows etc

He said just before the tour ended he was meeting Paul afterwards to discuss a format/set list for Vegas, worked on a film, filmed a Sci-fy programme, says his schedule is so filled this year he has yet to fit in the series they want to do from that .. Has the shows here in August, rehearsals for Vegas and then the season, plus no doubt work moving on other projects for 2014

That is living his creative, productive life in my view

That could well be all true Caryl. Sounds about right, but I also hope he has time to go for a Starbucks😃
