lol, well after 20 years, and a few gigs, it was an honour to have finally met a hero of mine whos music has been such a part of my life for sooo many years.

so i have got to give a massive massive thank you to a large team of members here, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes (you all know who you are, thanks again)

to meats assistant frances, and the security guys, again thank you so so much!!!

and to meat, it was an honour to finally meet you, thank you so much for going to all that effort, being so generous with your time, being such a kind and generous person... and for the years of happiness through your music and shows!!

you all made two very very happy loafer's lives that night!!

Yeah Meat's done it for me as well, tried to plan to get me a backstage pass, but we ended up missing each other. He's an amazing man, and the fact that he is willing to (for free) offer his fan club fans a chance to meet him backstage is amazing, and shows what he is made of! :-)

I'm sorry you didn't work out for you ... but I know exactly what you mean.

Those that have had that opportunity have been very lucky and I'm pleased that they have been able to enjoy that however I'm not sure that it's something that happens all that often? I don't know, someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
