As to "smell" .. it had been drycleaned Pudding, you ass, just as all items from films are before they are disposed of .. and no, Dave .. I'd never put it up for auction :) I also have his Tshirt from Fight Club .. and I wouldn't part with that either :) Caryl |

Have you the items "exhibited" in your home, or are they stored? (I have no plans of robbing you, I'm just curios ;)) |

I lugged the coat (which has very rich gold brocade trimming and, like the trousers, is very, very heavy .. and I'm not surprised he sat down between takes .. lol) to a M&G because I'd have loved to have Meat try it on again and photograph him in it myself .. but he was feeling poorly that night and sadly didn't do the M&G which was a post-show one. Back on topic. If ever I got hold of the film Dead Ringer, that would probably be my dearest item in both senses of the word. The storyline seems really crap, but it has to be the Holy Grail of Meat Loaf films. Pud  |

As for my dearest item I agree with Caryl, everything's precious and loved (plus it's all cost a bloody fortune so it's a shame not to like it ) but my dearest things are the things with stories behind them that hold memories...so whilst I enjoy the "regular" merchandise, my favourites are things like plectrums, drum sticks, a poster for my very first show back in '96, that kinda thing...but I'd say my absolute favourites are my M&G photos, all of which are treasured and all hold wondeful memories. I think also they're interesting for me to see, as when I first met Meat I was 13 and I've been lucky enough to meet him lots of times since so they make a time-line of me ageing! (though you'll never see the full time line as the first M&G pic will never appear online :p ) |

I posted that with the logic that it was Anne that printed RVM at the time...there's no way you have a copy of that pic online!

The infamous signed Condom yep Andy still got it
|
Wasn't aware you had a signed ML condom Rosie, you never mentioned it :p :lmao:
|
The meat loaf t-shirt with the everything louder artwork on it...it has all my sins remembered on the back , which i always remember thinking would have been a great title for a steinman song.
there's the autograph pic as well |

My favourite items are photos taken with Meat backstage at Glasgow, a guitar pic he threw into the crowd and a plastic beer bottle he threw into the crowd and I caught it-that's in my special display cabinet!

My DJ promo of the first release of "Stoney & Meatloaf" on the Rare Earth label, my signed copy of the reissue of "Stoney & Meatloaf" and the promo for "Bat Out Of Hell" album and "Paradise" single w/out the play-by-play. Wish we could upload the Stoney tracks but that's against the rules.
