allrevvedup 27 Apr 2009 18:18

Tropic Thunder - wasn't bad, Tom Cruise was good for a while but then his cameo got a bit too much

Sarge 27 Apr 2009 22:15

The Towering Inferno with a new German dubbing. (Why??? :wtf:) One of the best disaster movies. Haven't heard We May Never Love Like This Again sung by Maureen McGovern for a long time. Fortunately the song wasn't dubbed.

Did enjoy it, as did Anji as well. Does give the odd hint as to how the special effects are done lol but it's an excellent copy.

Just finished watching The Phantom Of The Opera, not seen that in the longest time but I love it and Emmy Rossum is supurb as Christine and Patrick Wilson and Gerard Butler are absolutely gorgeous as Rhoul and The Phantom .

I certainly need to listen to this more often as I really love the music .
Had a good swoon for a few hours .

Very underrated, both the film and the stage show, even Emma loved the stage show!!!!

MeatGrl1 02 May 2009 04:04

There is one very pointless scene in the movie which involved Patrick falling down a hole into a lake with the grate closing in on him and at the last minute he gets the wheel thing to turn before being crushed... Don't get that bit, think they ran out of things to do  !! Though many have said that the sword fighting in the cemetry is also pointless but that has more of a point than the falling down a hole and nearly drowning and getting crushed  !!
