This might be an unpopular opinion, but a DVD of a 90 minute show that will contain a fair amount of talk doesn't really kick me in the bollocks.

Shame :( .. Ah well .. perhaps I can cover for it? ;)

It pleases me .. but then I loved the Storytellers DVD .. and can listen to Meat being entertaining and deftly turing questions to his advantage til the cows come home :) I think it will also please the many who can't make Vegas and have begged Meat for a DVD

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, and it will most certainly be cheaper than Vegas ticket prices. Hopefully he'll do a one off, longer show if it's DVD bound. As far as I'm concerned the chatter in these type of things is interesting the first time, but then usually gets skipped.

CarylB 07 Sep 2013 19:09

That's OK .. and when it starts to tire? .. let me know and I'll come round and kick you in the bollocks .. can't offer fairer than that

Each to their own. ;)

I know I'm not going to make it to Las Vegas to see the show and although watching a DVD is not the same as being there, I'm happy at the thought that I'll actually be able to watch what sounds like a very special show.

LucyK! 07 Sep 2013 20:42

I'll be pleased to see this recorded...any DVD is great to have (though it seems a travesty that Last At Bat wasn't captured, such a waste) but I'll be glad to have record of this new and different chapter of Meat's career

It does for me, if he adds a 2 CD set of the LAB and MMW Tour

MMW might be a stretch

But an LAB bonus CD seems more likely just based on the popularity of the tour

There are times when I really wish I lived in the good ole U S of A!

ShelbyLee 09 Sep 2013 17:53

I always welcome a dvd but I still wish we had a Last at Bat dvd. That would have been an incredible keepsake.

stretch37 21 Sep 2013 02:01

No idea if this has been posted here or not, and apologies if it has because, at the moment, I don't have the time to crawl back through the thread. Anyways, great little interview here :D

If I could suggest to those going to Las Vegas to stop by the Stratosphere Tower's Top of the World restaurant. It's a very good restaurant and is price right for the food that is served. You would never think it's as nice as it is just by looking at the casino. It has views that are unparalleled in LV and at night it's spectacular! The restaurants turn 360 degrees (very slowly) so you get to see the valley many times over. Make reservations first so you can by pass the tower fee to go up even if it's just for dessert. There are three amusement rides at the very top of the tower that I highly recommend plus the tower sky jump. I've also done that and it worth every penny!
