Terri 25 Oct 2003 14:26

:D Good luck in your new job Bren.

I have an interview on Wed and I'm getting very nervous

sherrie87 25 Oct 2003 15:13

I think you lot should all leave the cold weather behind and come visit me in Florida- we're still in shorts and t-shirt weather for another few months. Oh, how I hate cold weather- which is why I live here! (True, some people are a bit put off by the fact that you can literally fry an egg on the sidewalk in the summer- it gets hot!) Sending warming wishes your way.

Sherrie

Em 25 Oct 2003 15:16

Hope you enjoy the new job Bren :)

Good luck with the interview on Wed Terri

Its a beautiful sunny day here so I must get outside and enjoy it.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone..I'm counting down the days to Nov 13
Usually hate Nov and Dec but think this year will be good. :D

Chris (and Terri, and Mrs. Mouse) come on over! I've got two couches up for grabs, a scant 10 minute drive to Clearwater Beach.

I would come over to Florida Sherrie, but i've been there once, and the first day my skin turned a sort of lobster colour and I spent the next two weeks in a lot of pain

Yes, sad to say most of the Europeans that we see over here on holiday share that lobster colour! I guess it's such a drastic change in climate their skin isn't ready for it. I'm of Czech (pale!) origin, but my skin has taken a fairly dark tone over 25+ years of living here, so I very rarely burn. (Which is a very good thing- those lobster burns hurt!)
