the original or the remake?
I love the original, its astonishing how they can produce the scary atmosphere without all the special effects, etc used today.

Betty 06 Apr 2008 10:27

yeah you just need some white wigs and a bunch of children.... thatīd still scare me nowadays btw :lawl:

The last movie I saw was Evan Almighty
pretty funny actually

Battybarb 06 Apr 2008 10:32

it was the remake 1995..with Christopher Reeve..

I must admit i have seen the original a few times and prefer it too..and yes the scary
effect is good

You should, if you haven't already, check out their 'Meisterworks' DVD - it's a live acoustic concert filmed in England, as well as all of the TV stuff they've done, and the videos for 'Tribute' and 'Wonderboy' etc. Top rate stuff indeed. well worth a watch or ten.

Enjoyed it more second time round to be honest, saw it in the cinema when it was released. Managed to get through Meat's appearances unscathed this time. Don't really know alot about them otherwise, but this DVD is enough to add other stuff by them to my shoppiung list.

Hot Fuzz.

Much fun! But I wish they would have provided subtitles for this untrained American ear.
