Here is a review Terry Allen did on Yahoo today after sitting down to watch skys footbal show when Meat walked on he was pritty shocked :) and he asks a couple of questions you peeps might be able to answer

Pete 8)

Well I must say I was _very_surprised to see Meatloaf appear on the show , I
thought perhaps he'd walked through the wrong door *g*

After the introduction they showed a clip of the video and Tim asked if it
was right the single was 7 minutes long .Meat said no it was 4 mins 23 [I
think ] seconds but that the full album track was 7 minutes.

He was then asked when the records were out , Meat said the single was out
and go and buy . Tim said most watching would be going to football matches ,
Meat said buy after the match . It was also mentioned that the albums out
Monday.

After that , in typical Meatloaf style LOL , the interview descended into
chaos . He took over , hey anyone think he'd make a good talk show host ?
Has he ever done any ?

He mentioned that the interviewers seemed to be handling things well and
that Richard and Judy seemed terrified when he was on their show . Did
anyone catch that ?

Now why was he on the show ? Seems for _some_reason he supports Hartlepool
!!!!! . He knows / or as met the manager Mike Newell , who they phoned and
got out of bed . Meat shouted and harangued him to get up and get the team
prepared.

But why does he support Hartlepool ? Anyone know ? They did ask him but in
all the confusion he never got round to answering the question .

All in all a very enjoyable half hour . He couldn't stay longer as he was
off to record for Radio 4 . No idea what / when but everyone keep their ears
open.

Thanks for that.

Mind you I can't imagine what prompted his comments about the Richard and Judy show. Apart from the fact that Judy always looks a bit like a frightened ferret since her face lift .. lol .. but actually I thought there was something so relaxed about the while atmosphere of the interveiw that Meat looked the most relaxed I've ever seen him in one .. and after an initial couple of minutes when he did what he always does to control his nerves, ie take control of the interview, he relaxed and just chatted to them as happy as Larry!!

He Peat,

You askes if he ever was a host on a show. Well he was. He hosted the MTV show "MTV Most Wanted "for a whole week back in January or february 1993. It was a show on primetime 8:30 CET.

I must say that I almost choked on my cornflakes this morning! It is the kind of program thats ideal for him, I hope he comes on it again!

He's probably the most famous person they have ever had on there too! Aside from all of the footballers of course!
