the prize gala will be shown live on tv march 25th.
the nominees are:

Thanks for the news RJ, looking at the other nominees there really isn't much competition for Bat III is there?
No, except for Justin and Robbie...argh...
Great news though!!!

though the nominees are based on the most selling albums of the year, the winner is chosen by a jury, that means it doesnt depend on many people voting for Meat, so I think he has a true chance to win it.
Well, then let's keep our fingers crossed...

Yes popular and well known, but since it's not a pulbicly voted award, it's mopre likely to go to someone who's brought out something decent rather than the pin up appeal.

COME ON MEAT!!!!
This would be so great if he won it :-) - you never know, he might even get best tour 2007 (if there is one - best live performance, I mean) or for some other award in the UK one! :-)
If you know what I am on about.

I'll chance it....what a load of crock!!! Don't they know what HIS OWN fans think of his new album......obviously not!!!
Unfortunatley it was very predictable but i could've stomached any one else winning it but him.

funny thing is:
favourites were Mr Williams, Meat and Cat Stevens'/Yusuf's new album....
and I truly think that Bat3 and Another cup (Yusuf) are great albums and both prize worth...and who won?:doh:
I'd give everything to look in these jury people's heads only one time...

I'd hazard a guess that you wouldn't find much!

Told you so...at least Justin didn't win...a little consolation for me here...
