Unforgettable Opera - Roger Daltrey

Who thinks these lyrics could be a new song for Meat?

Time and Time again
Someone comes to take you to the edge of something new
Why is it so hard for you to fall

I have stood alone
Watched you from a distance of a friend who understands
One who'd always be there if you

Knew what you were looking for
And you know it when you've found it

With the key in your hand
It's time to walk a naked stage of glass from hot sands
Where a sound within your heart
Will rage and it rocks in the head moving ever on
Life is an unforgettable opera

The time will come again
When staring in your eyes a place that you've seen before
Always something there to remind you

It's not a game of chance
Some you lose and some you just can't win them all at once
Time will give you everything

It's a rhythm that will never stop
It's like a clock that ticks between us

And the key's in your hand
Your time to walk a naked stage of glass from hots sands
Where a sound within your heart
Will rage and it rocks in the head moving ever on
Life is an unforgettable opera

Take the key in your hands
It's time you walked that naked stage of glass from hot sands
Where a sound within your heart
Will rage

With the key in your hands
It's time you walked that naked stage of glass from hot sands
Where a sound within your heart
Will rage and it rocks in the head moving ever on
Life is an unforgettable opera

Well at least you made a comment - I don't know the music but the lyrics seem so right - have pm to Meat in the hope that he will consider this.

Yes Guppie - he's still going strong and writes some really good lyrics
We saw the Who at the "ever last "concert at Wembley Mind you they are fond of doing much smaller gigs at places like Shepherds Bush Empire
Thanks for your comments

I would love to go to a the Who concert some time, but they never perform in Holland. I like Rogers voice a lot.

I doubt whether they will ever tour again now which is a crying shame

I was lucky enough to see them last summer. That was a night to remember!

yeah the lyrics are great, deep would be a good one gfor Meat to try out. I wonder what the music is like? I would like it to be a slow ballard type I think.
