Belinda Emmet

Most of you guys would probably know her from Home and Away a few years ago. Belinda is also the wife of Rove McMannus, who you will remember interviewed Meat back in September.

Belinda passed away this morning, aged 32, after an 8 year battle with cancer. She and Rover were long term partners, and married in January of 2005.

It was a sheer delight to watch Meat romp around the stage with Rove the night he appeared on Rove Live! and I was privileged to be in the audience.

Such fun and frivolity seems so far away right now.
