Does anybody know where I can get copies of the original DOTV *english* demo CD's? Not mp3's burned to cd, I mean actual CD copies of the original demo discs. I've searched ebay with no results and any help is much appreciated.

I´m quite sure that something like that doesnt exist. If there are CDs, then theyre property of Jim Steinman, who put mp3 files of them on his website.

If anybody can prove me wrong, please do, I´d like to hear such a cd too (if it exists)

The only CD available with the English demo's (Steve Barton, Elaine Caswell etc) was given out to the press for the Broadway opening. Those tracks that was on the CD are exactly the same that was available for download at danceofthevampires.com (which is now defunked) or now www.carpe-jugulum.com

If you really want to ownthe CD that was given out to the press ( why I have no idea  ) then it does pop on Ebay now and again, but be prepared to pay out of your backside for it. Like I said, the mp3's are no different in songs or quality.

Well that's the problem, all the mp3's I find are encoded at low sample rates and/or bitrates which makes them even worse than what a decent 320k rip would be.

EDIT : The reason I want this is specifically for "Seize The Night", and I have yet to find a proper 224k - 320k rip.

The versions I downloaded wer mp3pro. They showed up as 96kbps, but when you open them with a media player that supports mp3pro format, they're actually 192kbps, but the trouble I find with mp3pro is that the high frequencies can seem distorted.

Can you tell me where to get those?
