I know there has been a thread started on Aspen, but its got to many negative undertones and after a night of high energy and positives I cant be arsed to associatte with that.

How absolutely amazing was Aspens vocals on Objects?
I found it spine chilling, did any one else notice that Meat asked all the band to stop singing at the point when she was singing "objects in the rear view mirror may appear closer than they are"

I say welcome for a first concert you did really really well.

As for Paradise yes it was tamed down a bit, I would imagine because of how weird the make out scenes would look but I would gladly have swapped places with Meat and had this rather attractive girl swooning over me. (at 42 it would be like her having a toy boy, well almost)

Oh yeah one other point this girl can really sing.

Very well said Wenners... her voice WAS amazing! It felt like the whole of the RAH erupted with applause when she sung her first lines on "Objects" Welcome Aspen, hope you have a great time on tour and well done to you!!

Even though Aspen was amazing last night, I don't think Paradise works as well with such a large age gap between the two of them. I'm glad it was toned down otherwise it would have been a little 'ikky'. Loved the rest of the evening though!!!

Well done!

I think she did a great job all things considered
She sounded great
Paradise was made relevant to the two people singing it in my opinion, she is the new singer so lets support her guys instead of saying how she's not patti.
In her own right i think she's great!

Maybe its just me but I thought her best bit was AFL - the "I've been around..." line was sung sooo well, she has a very distinctive voice - and so powerful for such a small girl!

Talk about dropped in the deep end!

Aspen's third concert with Meat is in front of some 5000 or so crazed UK fans! At one of the biggest shows of Meats life ... I'm sure she was suffering from stage fright big style, but if she was it wasn't evident!

In Mannheim she looked nervous, but in London to me she looked like she'd been in the band a hell of a lot longer than she has!

Welcome Aspen, and I for one look forward to seeing you grow in the role!

I agree 100% Andy. After Manheim I wasn't sure at all, but at The RAH, she was amazing.
