Did anyone else see Meat Loaf last night during the Yankees/Blue Jays baseball game in Toronto? Being a Yankee fan who no longer lives in the New York area, I now have to watch them play through the mlb.tv site, which usually annoys me because when they play on the road, I have to watch the other team's broadcasters. Well this time it was a great surprise, as during the game Meat was brought into the booth to plug Bat 3. He talked about "The Monster Is Loose", and how the CD will be appropriately released on Halloween. The announcers also chatted about Bat 1, mentioning Phil Rizzuto's role in "Paradise". This is the 3rd Meat sighting I've had of him at a baseball game this year. I also saw him in a NY Mets game, and he sang the National Anthem at a Philadelphia Phillies game earlier this yr. I know many of you live in Europe where there really isn't much interest in baseball, but I just think it's so cool that Meat manages to appear during these games. For anyone out there who IS a baseball fan, the games are usually archived at mlb.tv so any paying customer can always rewatch any game during the season. I wonder if Meat is planning to make anymore appearances at a ballgame this yr, perhaps during the playoffs or maybe even the World Series?
