Yup that's right. I was walking downtown in Saint John's boardwalk. And I saw my first Saint John Idol show. Very similar to Canadian Idol & American Idol and etc. Without the glam, make up & cameras. Including Canadian beer 8)
Well I was commenting on a comrad's Alice Cooper T Shirt, when I heard the opening notes to Anything For Love. I said I'd be back, I had to see this Meat Loaf song being sung. The girl was fantastic. She did her own thing for some of it, and added a couple more words. But it worked very well. Her voice was on perfect pitch, nobody else for the rest of that night sung any better. Nerves or whatever reason. But she belted out the anthem, and I was singing along for alot of it. Smiled at her, and threw her some rock signs. \m/ And Metal ones too 8)
The Judges raved about her performance. Saying her choreography was bad, but the singing was spot on. The first little shaky, but the last 5 minutes were top notch. The first judge mentioned Meat Loaf and said he was a man of character, and always gave everything he had into his songs. Like Meat was some Rock Artist from the past! I would have corrected him, but I think Bat 3 will educate him a bit. But he said some real nice words about both the girl and Meat. The girl received a huge round of applause and deservedly So!

If I was around a computer last night, I would have send you a link to vote for her. You'd just have to take my word ;)
