What do you think is Meat's GREATEST video ever? [Archive]

While I enjoy most of his early videos, the one that has left the deepest impact for me has to be "Objects In The Rear View Mirror". The first time I saw this video I was in total awe!

I agree on "Objects", I think alot of people can identify with it, including myself.
My fav Meaty vid to watch so far is.. AFL, closely followed by ILFY. :)) Love the story, love the mystery and romance.. :D

I actually like the Rock n Roll Dreams video best. But I have a love affair with that song, so I'm biased. :lol:

Hmmmm - this is not an easy choose.....

I like so much videos such as "Objects", "Anything", "Nowhere Fast", "More Than You Deserve" ...

Most of Meat's videos are great!! :D ... except "Dead Ringer".... :-P

he looks so hotcha...

i like the vid tons...

but the vid that is closest to my heart ..is AFL.. the whole thing is glorious...and i've always been a fan of the Beauty and the Beast tale.. and... at the end.. ?..when the hood comes off?..and you see that loverly face??.. BAM !!.. that was it for me !!!!

Wasn´t that a take out of the never released Dead Ringer movie?
You know, where he plays himself and his biggest fan, and then the fan has to substitute him.

It's such a tough choice ... I love all of his videos :-)

The videos for Anything For Love, I'd Lie For You and Not A Dry Eye (because they remind me of mini movies) and the video for Did I Say That .. because it's different, and DIST is my favorite song from CHSIB.

Right you are about the DVD :-)

When Meat was interviewed on a show in Germany (I can't remember which one right now), he said that director Martin Weisz told him that he always wanted to film a car in the air ... so they ended up having a car hanging in the air during the video for DIST. He couldn't understand it either :-)

I think the reason there hasn't been a comprehensive collection of all of Meat's videos is because of the various record labels he's been involved with over the years. He would need to work out a deal that could get them all together.

I have to agree with Objects, I only firstly saw it when I was at my first concert and they played it on the screens at the side of the stage, and it is a great, powerful and emotional video as well as song.

CHSIB and Bat have to be on par though for me!

the best and the worst thing on the obj video is that the plaine crashes exactly at the sime time while the drums are drums are starting.

It isn't easy to answer, because all his videos are great (sometimes in their own way) I have to go with Objects, too but I like CHSIB as well. I like the intensity between Patti and Meaty. I like one picture of Did I Say That, it's were Meaty is surrounded by many burning candles.

Anything For Love is a great video (as Michael Bay said, it's a seven-minute 'Beauty & The Beast' promo) but the ending spoils it for me. Dana Patrick kisses the beast... and it turns into Meat Loaf!!! :shock:

I'd want my money back... ;) :-P

Personally I love the 'Anything for Love' music video. It was the first Meat song or Vid I'd ever seen and it blew me away! The video is so dark and gothic, it's just so cool. I really hope Meat comes out with something like this for Bat 3!

I think the problem Meat has with his music videos is that his songs are full of such drama and passion, that it can be very challenging to put them onto film and really do justice to them.

I don't know about you, but when I listen to any of Meat's songs they create a mini-movie in my mind just through the lyrics? I think thats why AFL, Objects, and I'd Lie For You are such great videos. Each one serves the song brilliantly, and are soooo different to what any other artist can bring to the table.

Objects is one of the best videos ever IMO. Beats watching most movies I reckon. Some of Michael Bay's best work.
Anything for Love is great too and is a close second.

Ooh I have seen so many and love them all though with no disrespect I found the Did I Say That? video a bit strange, I didn't get the car floating over his head though that might be just me!

It's All Coming Back To Me Now .... the first video for Bat 3 :))
