I was stuck in traffic on my way to work this morning, when I spotted the number plate of the car in front of me!! It certainly brought a smile to my face & I couldn't resist using my mobile phone to take a photo of it:-)

Cool... :D I wonder if it was deliberate or just a co-winkie dink.

Try Ebay. They have Meat number plates (not legal ones, sadly) and those signs with "Meat Loaf parking only, all others will be towed."

Costs about a grand to have a number plate like that. I looked up "3 BAT", which will set you back £35.000!
Quite likely this is a Meaty fan I'd say. :))

WOW!! Really Musicman, a 1,000+GBP for a personalized plate? That's a  amount. Here in Canada, It's around $100. for a legal personalized plate. Makes me think it's a real steal compared to the UK.

Yeah it depends hugely on what you want on there. I mean the guy could have been lucky with that plate at the time he bought it. But they pretty much range from £250-£1000 easily. If it is that short (b3 bat then it's probably a grand, if he'd gone for E77 BAT or so it would be closer to 250, but who the hell would want that plate. You could always buy a car in Canada with a personalised plate and get it shipped over here! :))
Feels like it's Canada here btw, weather is brrrrrrr. :-)

I'd love this plate to belong to a fellow Meaty fan - but unfortunately the car turned in the direction of the cricket ground in Manchester!!!

 A fanatic with fantastic taste.
I've just had a look on the UK DVLA website and there are loads of "Bat" type plates available ...
a selection of the bunch I can find are
ML03 BAT for £499
AT03 BAT for £499
LO04 BAT for £499 (which with some clever tweaking could read Loaf Bat)
L888 BAT for £250
V111 BAT for £399

If you were to buy a new car from 1st. March you could buy:
ML06 BAT for £499
Not bad if Bat III is issued in 2006

Last summer I visited a friend from a (not Meat related) forum. My nickname on that board is "Bat". Look at the licence plate of the friend's trailer in which I slept:

Not necessarily a Meat fan - we had an Italian teacher at school (as in nationality - he didn't teach Italian) who's first name was "Bat" (it was short for something like Batali I think). Also it could be someone's initials. Still cool though.
