Hi, Fire Ball! Just watched you on the NBA show. You were TERRIFIC!!!!!

Of course, the crowd was there for basketball, so the cheer at the end of Bat was not its usual roar, but f**k them! WE were all here for you and yelling our heads off!!!

You looked and sounded incredible!! Everyone in the band was great! Got our first peek at Mr. Crook! :D Looks like he's going to fit in just fine!! It's a shame they didn't give you more time, but this was just a 'teaser' of things to come, to those of us who are waiting (very impatiently) to see you again!!

Got an idea to share, if you don't mind. On DirecTV, they have a "Freeview" concert, which airs every day for a month. Last month, they had Eric Clapton. This month, it's Phil Collins and Ronnie Milsap.

I was just thinking that, with the new album coming out and the upcoming tour, that that would be a great way to let a LOT of people know about it! I know you hate doing live concerts in front of cameras, but there are millions of subscribers to DTV and this might be a good way to reach them! The show might be saleable in other countries, as well. You could tease them with a couple of the new songs, then hit them with the old favorites...

Good idea? Bad idea?? Hope you don't mind my sharing it!

Thanks again to everyone there for making our Saturday night very special!! Great job!!

Sending lots of love to you,

and to D, P and A: your three Fire Ballettes!

Wow, what a performance...just too short for us Meat fans.

You are right MB, most there were not that interested in the music, but it was great exposure for Meat on world-wide TV. And Charles Barkley...well he just proved he actually is as stupid as he sounds.

Paul Crook really rocks, he was awesome! Baaaad motorscooter indeed.

The cameraman seemed to be in love w/ Pearl, how could he not. She looked great.

My only complaint, other than Charles Barkley being an idiot, is that it's too bad the man who pulls it all together behind the scenes, music director Kasim Sulton, never got any solo shots.

All in all, you can't beat publicity like this.

My thoughts exactly MBrevard !!!

Hi Fire Ball !

I just watched the NBA show, and thank you for another great performance !! You were absolutely amazing - you've never sounded or looked better :))) Paul Crook really rocked ... it was one of the best BOOH guitar solo's I've ever seen :)) He's definitely a great addition to the Neverland Express !!

I wish your performance had been longer, but we'll take what we can get right now :))) The exposure and publicity are priceless ... and now you can go have fun signing at the party for the players tomorrow night !!

Thanks again
Vicki Pearson
