Yes, off course. I don't know if the next album is Bat 3, but I do know that "Couldn't Have Said It Better" isn't his last album.

So do you reckon when Meat has finished his big tour he will start work on another album asap?

Lets try and keep this as a running topic, i want everyone who uses this forums views on this. I've heard people say this is nearing the end?

Well, I remember, when The Very Best Of was released, people said that that would be his last album too... and it wasn't.
So... I'll keep on dreaming about BOOH III...

Well i sure think that there will be a Bat 3!!!

That will be the best trilogie in the history of music!! So i don't think that Meat Loaf will stop making albums. And let's face it, if someone can go on for a long time, it is Meat Loaf.

I hope you're right, Tim. I'm not worried about the age-thing, as Meat grows older, he's getting better and better.
But both Steinman and Meat have to agree on making BOOH III ....

Meat needs a Bat III, Jim also.

They both had the most succes with Bat I and Bat II. All the other albums of Meat aren't as good at those, you're missing something. But the songs on all the other albums are good.

Jim has another problem. His songs are good, but nobody can sing a steinman song like Meat. So also Jim needs Meat to make a huge comeback.

But this album will do it great. And the next albums also.
Bat III will offcourse be the best. Meat said that he will not record Bad For Good, Dance In My Pants and Stark Raving Love. He dispised Stark Raving Love, but in the future he will do (again) the first two songs for live acts. And I think that is the only way to perform Dance In My Pants.

But maybe Meat can use other old Steinman stuff (like Total Eclipse and It's All Coming Back To Me Now), and offcourse a few new Steinman songs.

 I think Meat will want to (have to) take a short break after the next tour. After all he has already done two tours last year, and a 150 date tour would put a strain on anybody.
However,Meat has never been one to sit on his hands.I think he will be back to work before too long  .
As for Bat III,it will happen. That is not a fans dream, that is a religious belief.

Lets face it, Bat Out Of Hell III will only ever be made with Steinman. Are Meat and Steinman even talking at the moment? I doubt Meat knows if there will be a Bat III, I think it'll be up to Steinman if there will ever be a Bat III. Do u think this new album will help in the decision of Bat III being made? I hope this album will be a great success and then the following album to be Bat III, which would be a huge success of course. Meat Loaf could then retire (if he wished) with a excellent trilogy and as one of the greatest singers ever. :D

Maybe in 2006. But it's going to be real!
I'm sure of Bad For Good and Carpe Noctem will be on that album with orchestra!

Meat! Listen me! The title should be Bat Out Of Hell III: In Heat Of Hell.

No! Meat may not retire! That would be cruel! He still needs to sing, when he's seventy! I'd like a Bat III after "Couldn't Have Said It Better", but also an album after Bat III !!

I sent an email to vee from the official fan club saying exactly what i started this post with. And she replied:

:D "Meat wants to keep going as long as he is able! Yes, he has mentioned Bat III, as has Jim Steinman, so I do believe we have that to look forward to....but truely, I think as long as his health holds out and he is able, we will be hearing Meat's music and seeing him on the big screen!!" :D
