Apparently Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' album has beaten Bat Out Of Hell by 3 weeks as the UK's most charted album:

#1 Rumours - 477 Wks
#2 BOOH - 474 Wks
#3 Abba Gold 466 Wks and still in the charts

The best thing about Fleetwood Mac WAS Stevie Nicks  I didn't like the album and I'm not a Fleetwood Mac fan but some of Stevie Nicks solo stuff isn't bad at all.

Rumours??? Stevie Nicks???

You young-uns need to go back and look at earlier Fleetwood Mac. For some great music check out Mystery to Me, that's my fave. Another early good one is Bare Trees. They were great even before Stevie Nicks, Christine's earthy, sexy vocals are amazing.

Trying to remember (and can't as I'm obviously approaching senility) they were first called something else when starting out as a British blues band. All that early stuff supercedes the commercial stuff they released when Buckingham and Nicks joined IMO. Tho to give them their due, Buckingham and Nicks released a very good album on their own before joining FM. Some ~~~~~~~ walked off with my copy at a party years ago, got to find that album again some day.

Thanks for the flashbacks guys, think I'll be spinning some old vinyl tonight. :)

That's a personal choice, I just have no particular liking for the album. Michael Jacksons Bad album sold something like a zillion copies and 9 top 10 singles (I think) but who her would have that in their collection?.

Mind you, i also own the greatest hits of Big Fun and Bart Simpson singing Do the Bartman.

Although, Bad is not as good as Thriller
