Anyone who votes 'no' needs to buy themselves a sense of humour. . .and a pair of ears.

Don't really listen to the radio so I haven't really heard any of their music but the little bit I did hear I wasn't that impressed with. Have decided not to vote as I haven't heard enough to make an opinion.

Normally listen to CD's in the car

They were the opening group for Meat in Germany; so I have seen them three times. I think they are a bunch of very crazy people :) But the music is nothing I want to hear all day- you have to be in a special mood to listen to them (drunk? )

I'm going to vote NO as I grew up with the likes of Iron Maiden and then Guns N Roses and Metallica and they to me are real rock bands.
I'm not a great lover of men singing high pitch! maybe i'm just getting old!! :D

Although I am open to change so watch this space!

They sing a little too much like the genius rock band known as queen for my liking.

I don't get the Queen references, personally. Anyway, Queen were hardly genius. . .

I agree with everything Heli just said. However, Brian Wilson is a genius, Mercury was not.

Mercury had some great vocals! Loved to hear him sing, still do. Brian May, is a nice singer too, but more of a great writer.

Here is a Didja know?

Didja know that Brian May worked with Meat in I believe 1986 to do a song called, "A Time For Heroes."

Darkness are great. It is an album I listen to quite regularly.

As for the Queen debate, Freddie Mercury was definately a genius. One of the greatest vocalists of our time. And I really do think that Brian May is one of the best guitarists anyone could ever listen to.

I really like the Darkness.

IMHO, Queen and Brian Wilson are both geniuses (geniii???).

Two random facts for you...

Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody was thefirst song to have a video created specially for it. They invented the concept of MTV!!!

Brian May (the second best guitarist in the world after SlowHand) (married to Anite Dobson from Eastenders ya know!!) is a qualified Astronomer and regularly appears ont he Sky At Night with Sir Patrick Moore.

Related random fact - I was once at a meal with patrick Moore and will never forget him rearranging the cruet on the table to demonstate the theory of a Planetary Grand Cross!!!

Queen are one of the few bands I've ever regretted NOT seeing live. Only other one was Meat, but I remedied that twice in January :D :D

Not sure if there are any others around that I would actually PAY good money to go and see at the moment.

I'm paying to see Morrissey this year. Possibly the Manics, and anything else that catches my fancy. . .

Elton John is okay, i don't mind listening to him, but not sure if I'd actually enjoy one of his gigs.

Apart from Meat .... I dunno who else I would go to see, although I like a varied selection of music

I had the mis fortune of going to see Elton John and it was the biggest waste of money I have spent!

Thank god for Meat and Axl rose!!

I quite fancy going to see Elton.

Only two I think besides Meat which are worth seeing - Chris DeBurgh and Dennis Locorrier.

I saw Elton John at Hyde Park in Essex, and whilst I am not a huge fan, it was really amazing to see such a legend. He performed really well and even came out in his tracksuit whilst it was raining to keep playing :)

Still cant stand that pile of rubbish he did for diana though...

oh, and on the Darkness, I am not a real fan, I find his voice abit annoying, but they are brining proper band based rock music into the mainstream, leading more people away from bubble gum pop so they get my vote!
