View Full Version : TO FIRE BALL -- Are you still doing the Jay Leno Show ??
Hi Meat !
Just checking .. a while back you said that you were planning on doing The Tonight Show with Jay Leno before you started the German leg of the World Tour.
Are you still planning on doing the show? And do you have any news of other U.S. television apprearances (such as Letterman etc.) that you can share with us ?
Thanks !!

I sure hope Meat's still doin Leno (so to speak!) as its one of the only american talk shows I can get on Digital satellite here in good 'ole Wales. :) We can get Letterman but its on at about 2.45 in the morning (Now that really IS a late show! )

I just checked the schedule on the Tonight Show website ... but it only shows this weeks guests, and he's not listed :( Hopefully he'll be on there sometime next week and you'll get to see him too!
Letterman at 2:45 in the morning ?? Yeah that's what I call a really LATE show

Yeah, I know  I watch it pretty regularly (especially since I read that Meat was gonna be appearing!). As its a day behind we should definately be able to catch the show if/when he appears :D

Meat Loaf posted on 20th June "Then back to the US for Leno then UK for a Top of the POPS special we are filming Oct 20th or 21st an ML top of the pops special. Then Germany and the Tour starts."
According to that, he was expecting that they would be doing Leno THIS week.

Thanks Sue ... but I wonder if they're still planning on doing it sometime next week, before they go over and do the Top Of The Pops Special ?
Vicki
Well I think I just answered my own question ... I checked out the TV guide, and don't see him listed for next week either :(
Guess it just didn't work out :?

I think the TOTP's special was supposed to be a program showing the recordings done over here earlier in the year. there's nothing in the tv listing for anything meat related next week :-(

If Meat was to record new stuff for ToTP (as his original message implies) it is possible we wont see the actual programme for a while. So there is still hope!

Yes .. I was thinking exactly the same thing :) It would make more sense for them to show it sometime in either November or December, when he's touring in the UK. I hope you're right !!
