There's a pre-sale of concert tickets for Australian leg TODAY for OIFC members .. trust no-one objects to this news being passed on as we so rarely get the opportunity to buy before public sale. You need to be a member of Meat's OIFC.

Anyone whose membership has lapsed because of the "Quota full" announcement .. Gerri told me that long time members would not be precluded from OIFC specials because they've been caught in the time trap, which seems fair.

After 3 hours trying to tame the Ticketek site, I have got my tickets !!!! Whoopeeee

I was very unhappy yesterday when I found out Meat wasn't coming to South Australia where I live, but I figured as this is his last tour, last opportunity to see him, I would just have to fly somewhere to see him.
So I'm off to Melbourne on Feb 20th for one last night of "Meaty Bliss"

He is doing this concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, should be totally awe inspiring !!!!!

do you have to be a financial member of the fan club ? do they check purchase names against member names?

I emailed the Fan Club over a week ago because of their site not working and wanting to join. They told the site was back up and running but it isn't.

Caryl, you are a angel !!!! I just phoned Ticketek to see where we would be seated, and would you believe FRONT ROW CENTRE...........
I am so excited :D don't know how I will be able to stand the wait, 4 whole months and counting......... :D

Thanks once again for sharing the info on the presale for us Aussies !!!

Kaye .. I am so very thrilled for you :) :) :) :) :) That is absobloodylutely BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!! I have only once lucked out on good front row seats through normal channels .. and I know how excited I was .. and what a wonderful experience it was ..

HAVE A BLAST!!!!!!!!

Lord, it's so good to see fan advantage work out and good things happen :))))))

The Brisbane pre-sale is over. During the week we purchased tickets through what is called the Backstage Club (the venue organises this). You pay an extra $20 and get free car parking, pre and post show hot savouries, your own bar area to drink and relax before/after the show and good seats.

Then the fan club pre-sale came along. We logged in yesterday and could have gotten 4 seats in the middle, 3rd row. But we had the dilema of not knowing if you had to be an official member of the fan club, but also, of how to get rid of the other tickets, as 8 would be useless!!! Anyway, we decided to let the brilliant pre-sale tickets go.

That of course won't stop my fiancee logging in tomorrow to see if she can score front row!!
