History, of the Dead Ringer cover art?

Hello,

i recently purchased a second hand copy of the DeadRinger LP and while holding it in my hand, i realized it's such a great cover,it's so over the top yet so intriguing. However i just have absolutely no clue what it's supposed to represent or what the metaphor is here... on internet i found out that the artist is a guy called Wrightson, he is responsible for the comic, "The Swamp Thing". so i guess it's a floating swamp with a motorcycle?

anybody know anything about the history and background of the cover art?

I think it may have something to do with Steinman's spoken word, Nocturnal Pleasure from the Dead Ringer album.

The line from the spoken word goes... "and they've blown up the place, like a giant balloon and sent it out to sea full of lonely screaming girls.
The quote above isn't the exact quote from the album. Play the track leading into song 'Dead Ringet For Love'
The man riding the bike is the mythical hero, Steinman was into heroic mythic figures is my understanding; based on interviews read and have heard involving Steinman.

The women also on the bike were two of the screaming lonely women from the spoken word.

My thoughts. What are yours? Someone else's?

Also, I kinda thought "Sailor From A Siren" or any number of songs from "Bad Attitude" could have been a premise for many different cover art concepts..

Bat Out Of Hell's art inspired the album cover.
Nocturnal Pleasure inspired Dead Ringer art.
Plus the song "I'm Gonna Love Her for both of us" to me has that heroic immediacy in stormy weather much in the same vein as "holding out for a hero."

Even the image inside the booklet for The Monster Is Loose, the song The Monster Is Loose has that heroic protagonist many of these Steinman moments possesses.
