There is a line in More, when the character in the song says, "Broken hearts are the devil's playground, I'm not done yet!"
Would this be Meat's way of saying there's more of the symphony left? More of the recording left? Or he has a few more songs or films he wanna do? It's a very specific lyric and haven't heard Meat or Steinman comment on the song itself.

Well, the lyric before Meat recorded the song was as follows:

Learning to cry for fun and profit
I’m not done yet
Counterfeit dollars or the English Zloty
Anything I can get!

Namely, it seems to tie into the singer's desire for "more," more of anything, at any cost.

The new lyrics (which I'm not super keen on, but hey, it takes all kinds of people) re-cast it in a blatantly sexual context, positing the singer as the devil at play, considering he goes on to talk about "counterfeit lovers" and "a virtual orgy." He doesn't care whose heart he breaks 'on the playground,' he doesn't want real love, he just wants "more" -- again, at any cost.

regardless, I have been craving more Meat lately. I think several of us have :cool: Who knows if we'll ever see any. The pandemic probably makes it difficult to record traditionally and I'm not sure how well Meat could do it remotely without help. Maybe hire a team?

I was responding to the OPs comment about more Meat Loaf content.

I didn't want to get into this, but - lest my contribution be deemed off topic by a mod, I shall engage: I like the song, but I want more.
