I can see this work in a Rock setting. It reminds me of the sound My Chemical Romance had on The Black Parade. Slightly twisted operatic rock.

Obviously it won't be the speech thing as Meat mentioned he wanted "the song" on Bat till Rundgren threw it off.

I agree Andrew, but surely it has been rewritten to an extent perhaps?

I severely hope so. By far one of the campiest songs that Jim has written. Perhaps it'll be used as Jim monologue.

Coincidentally, I was going through some random Jim interviews on YouTube last night, and in one of them, he mentioned that there was another spoken word piece that he wanted on the album, but Todd (I think?) said no. Any chance this was it, or does anyone know otherwise?

So we have

Who Needs The Young?
Prize Fight Lover (not Jim)
Braver Than We Are (rewritten under another name, potentially feat Ellen Foley, Karla DeVito & Mrs Loud [?])
Speaking in Tongues (?)

Any more confirmed? Gonna be a helluva record!

I think Meat mentioned a song called Scars in an interview.

The first two songs ever written by Jim. One of them is Who Needs The Young? The other I'm not sure about, but it's probably You've Got To Love Me With The Sun In Your Eyes Until The Day That You Go Blind.

Scars On Scars. The part of Only When I Feel that isn't Break It.

That's what I thought at first, but why would they change the name? And why would they include it now after cutting it out of 'If It Ain't Broke..."? Are they just going to remake it properly? It wouldn't make sense to just have that part on it's own.

Break It was already published on the Wuthering Heights soundtrack album, so it could be covered on Bat 3. Only When I Feel wasn't and I assume Meat's team couldn't get the OK from Jim to use it. Jim being the master recycler that he is, probably thought making a song from half a song is easier than making a song outta nothing at all.

That would've been so much cooler if you'd said "outta nothing at all"
