I know Meat has previously said he won't tour properly again, however I personally believe he will tour the new album with around 8 UK arena shows. Like it or not that is where the money is....

Didn't he say Couldn't Have Said it Better tour would be his last!

I suspect we'll get a bunch of shows in London and a bunch in Manchester, then maybe something similar in major European cities. I'm pretty sure the record company will want Meat Loaf to promote his new album, and Meat will want to perform some of his newer songs. I wouldn't expect a full on tour though.

Of course it depends on the precise definition of a tour. Two dates or two hundred?!!
There is something eerily quiet to me that suggests that this album is gonna explode.
Gigs aplenty will abound.

It was billed as his last WORLD tour, not his last tour, or an end to touring .. He made the famous "Know when to fold 'em" statement at the end of that tour, quickly rallied, and came back with Hair of the Dog.

That was some years ago, and he gave his, as usual very full, plans for 2015 which included a final US tour, and said he was not touring the UK again .. he was sorry to those who missed it, he would not be touring here again, but he planned to do a season of Rocktellz in London late autumn. I do not believe you will see a tour in the UK next year.

Depending on how the album is received we may or may not see a tour of anywhere. If it really takes off then maybe Meat will hit the road. I doubt that he would tour for the money but probably more for the opportunity to go out on top.

I agree he wouldn't do it for the money .. but this thread suggested there might be a UK tour, and we won't see that imo. He has said Last at Bat was his last UK/European tour, and everything he has said since has re-inforced that. He said he wanted to give his US fans one final tour, and I do not believe he would ever consider compromising that to return to tour the UK.

As far as going out on top in the UK goes, I think he did that in a blaze of glory here last year :) We were exceptionally fortunate to have that :D
