View Full Version : L96 - Llan.
Yesterday we lost a valued forum member, huge Meat fan and a great friend to many of us.
L96, Llan, Allanah, Muddy Puddles, however you knew her, passed away yesterday.
Those who met her and got to know her on line or face to face couldn't help but have their lives brightened by her presence.
Thank you, Andy; she’d be pleased that you started the tribute.
I met Llan here on this forum. And I was fortunate enough to be able to have her and Chris stay at my house in the Hudson Valley outside Manhattan when they came over for Bat 3. They had a great time; did a lot of walking including 4 miles to the house (maybe more) when they missed the last cab in the Bronx and decided to go for it on foot.
Adding further joy to the trip, we found out later that she had been carrying her oldest child since just before leaving Australia for California.
I wish her peace. I wish her children and family love and strength.

Will be sorely missed by all those who knew her, thoughts go out to her family.
Many a chat from a lady who would go that extra bit to offer support and friendship.

 Very shocked and saddened to hear of Llan's passing
A lovely person, and a dedicated Meat Loaf fan.
Somebody who could brighten the day, and make it a little less sane.
My thoughts and condolences go out to her family at this difficult time.
Llan, screw resting in peace. Rock the heavens. Mess with St Peter's head, sing along at the top of your voice to every song the house band plays, and do shots with Elvis, Roy, and Freddie.

I think she'll do all of that :-) A life to celebrate :-)
I hate to be the ignorant one, but she doesnt ring a bell. I guess she was a regular member here before my time?
That aside, I pray for her friends and family. May she rest in peace.
My condolences to her whole family, and her immediate friends, which include friends here that have lost someone who seems to have been a great person to many.
Right now, I'm pretty far away from home, 8 hrs. time diff. to be precise. I read the bad news in the morning and still can't get my head around this. I had the pleasure of meeting her in Adelaide 2 years ago in and Andy's and Neil's posts perfectly sum up my thoughts. Rest in peace, Llan.

My condolences to her family. I wish them strength.
We first met up on the old Meat .net site... and I remember her always with the explantion of "It's Llan ... LL not Li ..." ... because in the type it always looked like a capital I ... to some... okay ... to me ...
and went on to be FB pallies... playing the games and commenting at each other when deemed necessary ...
Holding her family and friends closeAsThis to my heart...
