It's Bat 2's birthday in a couple of months, so what is the chance of us getting something new? :shrug:

I meant in relation to Bat 2, of which you were probably well aware. Virgin's last reissue was seven years ago so it's possible.

I'm hoping for a Bat 2 played in order at some point (probably more likely to be 25th with Meat being so busy); personally I don't really like the studio album but when the songs are performed live they really come to life.

They should release (if they have this at least) the Bat 2 videos in HD at least. And perhaps the full history of Meat Loaf as well on Blu Ray combined with the album.

Too right. What about including Blue Tears Date with Destiny? Wonder if Meat ever recorded it as it was supposed to be on the album

I enjoy this album, there are some songs that I could do without but the songs that I do like I thoroughly enjoy and listen to often. Lemon-Won't Quit-Frying Pan-Objects, those are all great songs, imo. AFL was the song that introduced me to Meat and this was the first Meat album I ever purchased, so I guess this album will always mean something to me.

Did they ever film a show on the Bat 2 tour? We have a dvd from the original Bat tour and 3 Bats tour but none from Bat 2 (imo, the best tour).

I hate to ask this, but I will. What does Blue Tears have to do with Meat? It sounds like a Meat Loaf song, for sure, or Springsteen song.It has a bit of "I'm still alive" in it.

I think Bat 2 is the best. I love the songs in it, all of them. I was sad to see that the best of did not include wasted youth/everything louder b/c when attended a concert right after the album was released-it was this song that had the crowd up and dancing and screaming I love it Sort of reminds me of rock and roll mercenaries in a way.
I do not like the music at the beginning of Lemon, have always thought it should have had an intro like Wasted youth and Everything louder. I did not like the remix either. I like the song, just not how it begins. the original sounds like a funeral dirge.

Re Blue tears. This must be a parody. It sounds like a Jimmy Kimmel sketch. Absolutely horrible! If Meat is Springsteen on steroids then this is Springsteen on really cheap amphetamines.

Parts of the Hudson Show appears on the Bat 2 Show. Maybe there's more in the vaults.
German Pay TV had an advert for a show that never was aired (not the Neigbourhood Concert!!).
