It could have been 10 if you voted Paul
Still, hopefully interest will grow in the future.
Did that include my... ermmm... complete set of votes?
I'm afraid not.
As you can see from the final voting process, you had to fill in a full list of votes for a category if you wanted to vote in it.
You were a bit short in the male vocal by just nominating Elvis :lawl:

There is one more surprise category, and i'll be posting about that on this thread shortly.
 OK, more on this..........
I received a suggestion for a special induction, and I really liked the idea, so i've deleoped it into a category.
This is the only category that is not nominated or voted on by the membership (We've got to keep one surprise back, and it also means that i'm open to bribes  ).
So, intoducing the Special Recognition Award.
It's not something that I imagine will be awarded every year, but it does give me the option to show special appreciation to somebody who has made a special contribution. Be it musically or to our community.
As we're doubling up on inductions this year, there are two inductions into this category this year. Both of whome have made tremendous contributions to this forum.
Our first inductee is the guy who has been the driving force behind this site since it first started.
A man who has dedicated years of hard work in making this forum the best place it can be for everybody in the Meat Loaf fan community.
His efforts have been hugely beneficial to the fans, and to Meat himself.
His IT knowledge, creativity, fair mindedness, and sense of humour are all things we can be thankful for.
To paraphrase Meat, if it wasn't for you there would be no mlukfc :nope:
So..........
for special services to the Meat Loaf fan community, and also special services to the Bannanaphone :yay: , it's my pleasure to induct our own webmaster
R.
Our other inductee this year is also somebody who has made a significant contribution to the forum.
We've been lucky over the years to have been visited by various band members, but one in particular stands out.
Very soon after joining the band, this guy made his first appearance on the forum, and has continued to visit us on a regular basis ever since.
Since he first joined us he has always been happy to interact with the fans and answer any questions about his playing technique, equipment, and anything else we've wanted to know.
Since taking to the production chair he's continued to answer our questions and given us a whole new insight into the process of making a Meat Loaf album.
His contibution to this community is above and beyond what anybody could expect of a member of the band.
His genuine and friendly attitude, and his generosity of spirit make him LEGEND 8)
Not only a great musician, but a gentleman, and a real ambassador for rock n roll, :metal:

I'd usually agree, but I think it would upset me too much to see that the mic was a victim of one the biggest injustices in awards history.

I'm not so sure i'll be able to get the whole Hall Of Fame posted by tomorrow night, at which point work will get it the way.
I've started work on it, and I think folks will be quite pleased what i'm putting together.

I have contacted the New Orleans office and they have issued a statement, which reads: " Congratulations to Les, a close friend of ours and a deserved recipient of this award."
Although, unrelated, a neighbour has reportedly witnessed a ceremonial burning of guitars in the firm's loading bay area by the fiery young mic.
