Go figure, this is a fairly conservative part of America. They just went nuts. We saw Meat and crew, 7/19 at the Great Jones County Fair, Monticello, IA.
Setlist was the same as WI. They were cramped for time as the fair had races, we saw the sound check, but no band members sang, unlike WI.
In track seating and everyone was standing from the start. Talked to a few folks around us and they were Meat fans big time. All had heard the new CD and bought it over the net. We were in the 5th row, so everyone around us had called within minutes of tickets being on sale. Prolly a nutty group, but hey....these were good folks.
That said, the entire crowd really did like the new songs. Fanatics around us knew it, but I looked back and most in the crowd were just entranced by what they heard. Loved Testfy the most I think.
Jules is working on a more detailed review and I'm working on some oics. Work beckons tomorrow, but we will try to get them up soon.
Never, ever stop ROCKING,
Terry
