Hi all

Preinstalled on the ipad3 there is a youtube app. I tried to watch the official music video of "I would do anything for love" (<- search term or just "meat loaf" but it doesn't find it. I've checked youtube on my desktop pc and there was no problem finding it!

Why the hell is the video not listed when I am using the ipad3 youtube app? For me it smells like copyright-censorship!:evil::evil::evil::evil:

I have evidences! I tried to access with the Dolphin HD browser youtube. After scrolling a lot (!), I found only one uploader of the video with following result:

It says the video is not allowed to be viewed on mobile devices!

~~~~ing copyright facists!
EDIT: It is the same on Android mobilephones. I am again so dissapointed about the content-mafia.
Lol. It has nothing do with copyright protection. Some videos are just not formatted for mobile devices by default.
This makes no sense. It is a stream. It doesnt have to be formatted when it is playable with Flash or HTML5 in a browser.
I don't know the specifics, but I believe it's that some videos are not formatted for HTML5, because iOS does not use flash. I remember when i got my first iPad that it would not play almost any video besides most of the ones on YouTube.
However, since the OP claims it won't play on android either, I don't know...
Nope. The copyright owner hasn't licensed this video for mobile devices - that's what the error messages says. Same with the HIAHB advert on the frontpage - try to watch that on a mobile device.
True. It's usually one of 2 things:
1) an old video which hasn't had the settings changed
2) The ads won't work with certain mobile devices. So it gets restricted.
