Pretty close to the way I fly ;) I'd probably have CHSIB, HCTB and HIAH in my top group, the three Bats and WTTN in my second, and the rest are still ones I enjoy

Has everyone forgotten the album Stoney and Meat Loaf?

Perhaps some people simply don't associate that album with what they see as "Meat's Albums". I like some songs on it because I enjoy Meat singing, but for me it's an album which, like many I suspect, I found after I'd been introduced to Meat as the amazing iconic rocker. To me it's a step he made on the way to becoming the Meat Loaf who first drew me to him.

ive had it in the car for a couple of weeks now, the more i listen to it, the more i like it...

as for meat album rankings...

i would say without a doubt my favourite is bat 2, and my least played is hang cool
but i can't really give an order as it really does depend on my moods, and to a large extent what i've been listening too recently

Can't really rank all of them. I know my least favorite is Blind Before I Stop and my second least favorite would be Midnight At the Lost & Found. The rest I just can't put in order - too many great albums. Bat I will always be a sentimental fave with me cause it was the one that started my Meat obsession. Bat 3 is one of my faves along with HIAHB and HCTB.

It's hard to say. I don't actually think Bat 3 works as a cohesive album like WTTN definitely does and even BBIS, DR and BA but I think it has some killer songs. Even HIAH has a great "All of Me" in my opinion and I really like "Keep Driving" on MATLAF. Finally Prize Fight Lover, albeit dropped from HCTB is I think one of the best songs Meat has ever recorded and one of his most impressive vocal performances from recent years.

01-04 I love with a passion, 05 I genuinely think is the greatest non Steinman album, 06 is probably higher up because its new, 07-08 have a couple of songs each which are great (guess which ?), the rest 09-12 have nothing to redeem them ... and actually I actively dislike them.
