I know everybody has some sort of wish list (and if this thread has been done before, I am sorry in advance). So I had to at least tell you a couple of my own (impossible) Meat Loaf wishes...

1.) I would have LOVED to see ML's performance at the CBS convention in the 70s. Maaaan, I know that had to have been amazing!!!!! I wish there was video of that somewhere I could find...

2.) I just heard Pandora Box's version of some of Steinman's songs. I love how strong the lead's vocals are, especially in "It's all coming back." I wish I could either figure out how to merge ML's vocals & Pandora's into one version of that song ---or wish they could have done it together.

1) The unreleased tracks for 'Renegade Angel'. I know that they are really bad, but I would still be interested.

2) The 1981-82 version of 'Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through'.

3) ML recording versions of 'Not Allowed To Love', 'Still The Children', 'What Part Of My Body Hurts The Most', 'Speaking In Tongues' and a real version of 'Nowhere Fast' (even though I DO like the 'Bad Attitude version as well, but I think of it as a completely different song)

4) I wish that Jim Steinman would return to ANYTHING music related. Whether it's with ML or not. (But preferably with ML)

I really don't think anyone can sing a Steinman song as well as Meat Loaf. The feeling and the soul just isn't there, no matter how hard anyone tries.

Although I wish they could get together again on a project, my expectation is that ship may have already sailed for reasons we'll never know about. I'm glad Meat has moved on and continues to do great work.

Going back in time to the Cleveland show would be superb, could cope with that I reckon.

Failing that, perhaps going a little further back and starting an independent record company in the New York are around the mid-70s and giving a recording contract to an unkown pairing of an unlikely looking rock singer and the eccentric composer.

Also, getting to Brixton Academy a little earlier in Feb 1985 would have meant that I'd have had a better view of the free Bad Attitude live show that was recorded for the BBC and subsequent video release.
