Meat was talking on Capital FM breakfast show today an an email was read out from a member of MLFCUK!!!! They pleayed BOOH for all the fans at MLFCUK! How cool is that! :D

Meat's new single (the re release) of Couldn't Have said it Better will be released on July 14th in the UK!

Meat said he not gonna party in the park, but ROCK the park!!!!!!!!! :) on Sunday...cool :) He is due on stage at 1.50pm at Party in the Park, which will be televised on Channel 5 (UK TV) He going to be doing 3 songs. CHSIB, Anything for Love and BOOH :D

Once again he ruled the airwaves, this man is amazing, what can't he do. Well done The Flying Mouse for sending in a message to Capital to be read out on behalf of us all, sadly won't be there on Sunday to see Meat Loaf 'ROCK' the park but will be watching on Channel 5. ROCK ON FIREBALL :D

This sounds great, Joe. I am hoping for a dvd of Party in the Park.
Anything sounded SO good on UK radio (can't remember when) some months ago.
Can't wait to hear this Sunday. Think 3 songs is quite good, wished for more ofcourse.

now, we didnt even get a full version of one of em! they just cut it here there and everywhere!! if i were to total the time played we probably got 5 mins :evil:

I only got the internet stream being in the States and all, and it was VERY frustrating waiting! Finally there was a nice interview with Meat and then they intro'd CHSIB WRONG (called it You Say Nothing At All!), and then the sound for the song seemed off, like at times you couldnt hear Meat but you could hear Patti doing the alternating verse to Meat in spots -- for those that saw at least SOME of CHSIB on television, did they show this? Did there seem to be sound problems or something perhaps? Im just curious if it was just the radio broadcast or just a hazard of being live and was a sound problem or such? Maybe could THAT have been why the coverage was cruddy? Not sure!! Take care!

Nah, they cut Meat because he was supposed to be on for 15 minutes and he ended up staying on for 32 minutes...[/b]

Jennifer, eventually we got a full CHSIB however the sound dropped in places with regards Meat. Sometimes meat couldnt be heard and you heard patti or background vocals. They then screened 2 mins approx of anything for love which took meats air time up to 11 minutes which was average. Nothing of bat screened although you could hear it in the background during interviews. Meat has just done an interview with one of the presenters where they briefly talked aboutt he new album. Thats all thats been screened up until 3.35.

Hi! Nah, what I meant was, his mike just seemed to be out at spots of the song or low enough the radio broadcast just wasnt strong enough to hear it via, and i was wondering if those who saw the CHSIB broadcast on tv got the same thing and perhaps it was sound problems at the show itself or if it was in fact just some goof on the radio's part? Not sure! Thanks though!! editing to add: thanks for the basic play by play Chris! So i guess it was a sound problem. Shame, they didnt seem to have that problem for the other acts, darnnit! :) Thanks to you both for the quick replies!!
