I voted for Marlee - mostly cause she took Meat for her team! I wouldn't count John Rich out. He has been really strong and could very well win. Either way both are really strong and played hard for their charities while maintaining there ethics and dignity. Both have done really well. And Meat should be very very proud about how he represented The Painted Turtle. He did right by his kids!
As much as I'd like it to be Marlee, I think it's going to be John Rich.
I'd vote were there an option for "Whoever Trump decides he wants to be the winner". Based on overall performance as a strong player it should be John Rich, but Trump chose a weaker overall player as his second finalist, so who knows which way he'll jump?
Like Cathy I'd like to see Marlee win now so Meat is part of the winning team .. but frankly as far as Trump's decisions go it's a crap shoot.

Rooting for Marlee!
I'm rooting for Marlee .. not just because Meat is on her team, but also because she's the underdog and I really like her :-) Having said that, I have a feeling John Rich is going to win ... which is also great because it's all about the charities. IMHO it's a win-win situation either way

You know, I've been thinking about it from the charity side the last few days. John is supporting a great charity but they are well-known in their own right. Marlee's is a lesser know but just as worthy and I'd really like to see her win for that reason.
On the other hand, John ticked me off (I'm over that now.) and I'd like to see Marlee win because of that.
Then again, Meat is on Marlee's team so there's that too.
I think at this point, the first reason is my main one though.
Yeah, sometimes I have too much time on my hands.

I really hope Marlee wins, because she is being herself on the show, we see the true Marlee on screen.
John's friends have said he's not the same person on the show as the partying, wild person he actually is. I don't wanna fake winner, so I'll go with the one who shows me their true colors :-)

i hope marlee wins, to be honest if she does it will be down to Meat:D,, JR is somebody i have never been sure about ? hes ok, but i think its all about John with him imo. i prefare lil jon actually, hes more real. if stand in the storm is not done on the finale [ not a chance imo ] it would seem to be down to JR, i hope i am wrong.
why i say this is hes bringing hes band to perform a charity song he has out [ fair enough ]. but would it not make more sense to perform the actual celebrity apprentice song? 4 sets of fans will buy it, more money for every charity. now if it is performend, i will take back my post, no problem. but i just say it like i see it, hes twitters etc etc,, not one mention? just talks about John

so at finals stage, will this be judged purely on this task? or on how they did throughout the show?
if its based on this task alone, i think john rich has pulled an absolute blinder getting dee snider involved, its a fantastic vision and concept!!
As always .. Trump decides, for his own reasons, though no doubt he'll have a set he believes plausible

John's song was not crappy  It was John's night ... he raised a lot of money for a very worthy cause, so they should play his song !! I thought it was extremely touching and powerful, especially with Marlee signing to the audience.

True .. it would have been nice if they had at least mentioned it ... but I guess they ran out of time after all of the endless commercials

John's performance of that song with Marlee signing was probably one of the best, most powerful, touching moments of the show. The audience was in silent awe and several people were in tears. It is a great song that is truly from the heart. And as Vicki said he raised a lot of money for a good cause. He deserved his moment.
Yes a mention of SITS would have been nice @ some point during the show.

He just seems so fake to me
i have to agreee as much as i think he played the game there is still apart of me that says there was something too sneeky about him in honesty I dont believe that those donaations were a surprize to him so half of me thinks well you played it good dirty but then that is CA if you wana win the other half just wanted meat to win just sad how a good heart didn't triumph it should have, lv u meat
I'm as sure as I can be without being there that JR knew the donations were coming because he'd called them in. They were 100% "safe" in terms of not being at risk of going to another charity as it wasn't a fundraising task; the cheques were made out to the charity, but might give him one last edge and ensure he broughtback the winner's $250K. Personally I don't think Deff Leppard arrived at any other time than he expected either. Too smart and in control for that, imo it was also staged. Whether or not this makes him a bad person is down to each of our perspectives and values I guess. It makes him a strong, powerful and determined player, who played the CA game to win.
Fake? I think his support for his charity is solid and sincere. He made it cleear from day one he was there to win; I think he may have referred to doing anything it took to be the winner; others may have said it, he meant it, was prepared to do it, and did. He seems to have more ego than Meat. In the early tasks he seemed such a straight arrow, and perhaps some of us have become disillusioned at his determination to keep himself in the game until the end, and how he executed it. I think that arrow was always aimed straight at the target ;) The prize was always the most important thing in his sights, and to be fair he never suggested otherwise; perhaps it just took time for it to become clear just what that meant. Would he have served his granny up on a BBQ at the 7-up event if it was the clincher? I hope not, but wouldn't put my money on it ;)
To me he is nowhere near as likeable as Meat. I've always considered Meat competitive, someone who drives and strives to win. But imo in large part he competes against his own standards, and I don't think he ever compromises a very clear personal integrity in pursuit of winning. He left CA having won $200K for his charity and with that great integrity intact. We may have learned a lot about how he goes about tackling tasks and problems, and his leadership style and skills; but to me he confirmed his character, his ethics, and that integrity. In the case of JR we learned about his strengths and skills, and also about the lengths he would go to play the CA game successfully at every stage. He won CA. Meat won more of my respect and admiration :-)
We follow a man with a huge heart and imo a very honourable set of values. Things that surprised Trump ;) but weren't necessarily those which will win the CA title. I'm glad I follow the man I do, and who makes me proud to support him :-)

why are we questioning john rich's integrity, values or gameplay, can't we just celebrate all their success's? this is a man meat has called a friend, and worked/ collaborated with, they were all there to win money for their charities, we all saw how passionate and emotional meat got for his charity... however, we even saw john offer to personally make sure the painted turtle didnt loose out on any money donated should meat loose the task... they are all different people, with different ways of working, but its a little unfair to be questioning the winners integrity or values based on how they were portrayed on a reality tv show imo.

Not sure if you're addressing me or making a general point. I just commented on how I see him .. as I said, a strong, powerful and determined player, who played the CA game to win, and I think he made that clear from the start. Personally I don't think that makes him a bad person; less likeable to me, but that's just a personal view. He does come across to me as having a big ego, and I do have greater respect for Meat, who refused to compromise his own integrity to win. But I didn't question JR's integrity; I just believe Meat operates to a different set of values, where winning was less important than it was to JR. I have my own views on the offer he made to Meat to ensure Painted Turtle didn't lose out, but agree it was a very generous one.
Really all I was trying to say was that I gradually formed a view, and wasn't disappointed as the strength of JR's powerful determination to win became clearer. Some people seem to have become disillusoned. I haven't. I don't see him as sneaky or fake as has been suggested; but rather as someone smart, clever and completely focused on becoming the Celebrity Apprentice 2011, something he was always up front about. Meat I find more likeable, and happen to admire more, and I think it's OK to express that view. And one can only base one's view of someone on what one sees .. in JR's case the show, interviews, his website. I made it clear it was a personal view, didn't accuse him of being in some way underhand or wrong in how he played, because I don't think he was, and have said he was the strongest player, and I believe he deserved his win.

was just a random general thought...(i have a long history of them) however, many meat fans have followed his career for many years, and have seen and loved and get his way of working, i imagine few of us have followed john rich over the years, and can only judge how he has been portrayed by what we have seen... that strikes me as rather similar to judging meat on how his busey incident was perceived by a large proportion of the public... perhaps rather unfairly
Fair enough Jonty :-)
I take your point about the thing with Busey .. although my own perspective is based on more than a one minute clip ;) Oddly enough I was responding because I think it's unfair to refer to JR as sneaky or fake, or in some way played an unfair game. In my view he played the CA game and played it well, which is why he won. As I said, imo he does present as having a bigger ego than Meat (leaving aside the character Meat creates on stage ;) ), but neither that, nor a determination to pull out every stop to win makes him a bad person .. just a different one.
And I was joking about BBQing his granny  Perhaps Gary Busey though? Which I'd applaud ;)
