just looking back over the last few weeks, i am starting to really think is it worth been famous? ok im sure the fame can be great sometimes/lots of cash etc etc,, but i guess the biggest problems for most celebritys is when you hit the headlines for lets say the wrong reasons. because there are bound to be a few lies added in etc etc,, as i would call it The Hollywood Effect!!!!
but there are some people who crave attention - like lets have a breakdown and shave your head bald!! dangle your child out of a balcony, Charlie Sheen need i say more? Meat does not come across as a craver imo, he lost hes cool, had a bad day etc etc,, look at all these shows in the past? Meat hardly broke the law. thats what happens when you put people in a small group on tv , and spending 12 hours a day together, 12 hours with Gary Busey:shock:,, and then comes the editing? its all about ratings at the end of the day. Meat was man enough to say sorry, what more can he do? he let us know a bit more into what happened, and it makes more sense now.
Dionne Warwick came across to me like a bully, somebody who is used to getting her own way? Meat just had a bad day imo. he has never looked or acted like a spoilt celebrity, i have never met Meat, had plenty of chances to go to Meat and greets but never happened? strange, but hopefuly one day.
i love Meat Loafs music/voice/persona etc etc,, i am a fan of the singer/actor, its great that he posts on here, what an honour imo to have him around. but i will never expect anything from him other than been my favourite singer? i enjoy some of hes films, hes tweets were fun!! but thats were i draw the white line. i dont expect anything more from him, he has hes own private life/family life etc etc,, and i would never talk or ask him about this. outside of the character that is Meat Loaf, its none of my bizzness!!
unless he wants to become my best buddy:lol:,, so when i see people not wanting to be fans or stupid shit!!! been written i say this - draw a white line between the character and the real person. i dont like Meat Loafs new song!! thats fine, i dont like Meat Loafs new music video? ok. but to judge a man that you have never met/worked with/friends with/ is wrong. and why i have never felt let down by Meat Loaf is I DONT EXPECT anything from him other than some good music and every so often a decent film? hes, only human.

To be honest with you I think Meat's reaction on Celebrity Apprentice was unacceptable. There was no need whatsoever for him to react in the way he did. I know he's only human, but this is not something you'd like to see happening anywhere. In social venues, schools etc. It's terrible. Gary Busey didnt do anything wrong. Meat misplaced his bag, and only has himself to blame. No disrespect but this is nothing new with Meat anyway. Countless times he has come on this very site and blown a casket over nothing at all, and insulted his fans. Honestly he really needs to sort his anger out. People will remember this meltdown for a long time to come.

Meat has agreed it was wrong, has aplogised, (although Gary did have his paints) and it's yesterday's news. The indignant fingers roving the net are already finding something else to get hyper-excited about. In fact after Busey's behaviour last Sunday the fingers are tapping about him. Time to let it go.

I've said this once and i'll say it again......its really, really shameful to assume your #1 idol has real life anger issues by watching a portion of a reality tv episode.

Ah now Meat's reaction was just uncalled for. Had he not being pulled away, he'd be in jail for assault. His reaction is everything that's wrong with society. He seems to have so much anger inside that he has yet to address. Maybe he should....or he'll find himself in trouble and embarassed again.

Not really look at all the assaults and stuff that could happen from a reaction like that. If you were to do it to the wrong person you could end up badly beaten or even killed. If children were to sit down and watch the way Meat behaved is that setting a good example? It's surely isn't.

Excuse me now. I'm taking offense to that comment. Don't anyone dare misquote me. I said it wouldn't be good for children to sit down and watch Meat's behaviour on celebrity apprentice, but I never for one second suggested that Meat was RESPONSIBLE for the behaviour of children in society.

Yes, it looked bad on tv. But you still CANNOT base an opinion on what you saw. Its reality TV. For all you know, Gary could have done enough and pushed Meat far enough past any sane human's ability to cope with it and Meat finally had is say once, then apologized. We just don't know. Im surprised that anyone on this forum is willing to mindlessly believe reality tv, over your idol. This is why america is dumbing down....we believe shit like that, rather than using our own judgement. You will never know what happened between gary and meat, unless you sat down with both of them in an interrogation room and questioned them. So just give your frieking favorite singer the benefit of the doubt and chill out.

I know where you're coming from Matt, but sadly they can and do. We see it all the time on the internet

So just give your frieking favorite singer the benefit of the doubt and chill out.

That I'd endorse wholeheartedly. Most people, when they make a mistake, take responsibility for it, and make a heartfelt apology, are allowed to get on with their lives without having their friends rub their noses in it over and over again. Nice if we could afford Meat the same generosity imo. It's so pointless raking it up over again and again. It's history, and events unfolding are giving a fuller picture of the context, plus showing the respect, warmth and affection Meat's teammates have for him; and they've all had the opportunity to get to know him and his worth as a person rather better than us.

Caryl

That's right. Meat's told us what really happened and we know there was a lot edited out. Meat felt bad for his behaviour and gave a sincere and heartfelt apology to Gary. From what I have watched, that hasn't been edited out, Gary has been asking for it for weeks, and I'm surprised no one else 'blew a gasket' before then. All Meat's team have respect and admiraton for him and have supported him over this incident. I think people need to get over it and move on. There's another incident coming up which will make Meat's behaviour look like nothing.

My only problem with what steve6 wrote was "Gary did nothing wrong". Excuse me in less than 12 hours leading up to my BAD Behavior and it was wrong, he had got in the face of every member of the mens team and also Star Jones. John Rich had to send him home. Gary did nothing right is more like it. Did I go too far yes. I'm 63 my temper has never gotten me in trouble and would have never in a million years struck him . I think anyone that saw the show, has half a brain and is now listening to the the lies and B.S. that Gary's ugly mug is pathetically spewing on every TV talk show that will have him, can figure out that his story doesn't make sense. Of course I am giving some people credit for having half a brain. The only ones that don't get it are those that don't bother thinking in the first place. Just had to say all that. I am done with my little rant - LOL
Looking forward to seeing great things from you in future episodes and hope you will be one of the last two standing for the finale. Go Meat

Wow, I've got to say, it was a brave man to get in the face of Star Jones!!! Meat, I think you are all saints for putting up with Gary for as long as you did before 'erupting'. Anyone with half a brain shoud be able to figure out that all is not what it seems when it comes to reality TV. Gary has been spouting bullshit on any TV show that will have him. But last weeks episode really showed him up for how annoying he truly is and what a liability he is to the whole team. And each episode seems to be made more clear what he is really like.

I'd try to not worry to much about what people are saying or still saying about your to do with Gary Meat. Stuff happens and we are all human. I understand why things went down the way they did. And I know you would lose it completely. Try to take things with a grain of salt. It sucks that people can't move forward on this but it happens. Gary is a tool and will hang himself. So hang tuff.

I have been a loyal Meat Loaf fan for the last 8 years. First, I was even +- happy with Bat3 and supported it with so much effort I never gave for an artist. I was still not mad after reading the interview where Meat told the truth about the production of bat3. And I was quite happy with HCTB.

But this stupidy Celebrtiy Apprentice thing. I never thought Meat would end in such shows. And then I had to watch the explosion of Meat in such a show that even "The Daily Show" makes their jokes about it.

But the worst of all is, that the show is from the Donald Trump. This specific dumbshot, who has to argue about Obamas birth certificate.

I am soooooo dissapointed that I have to see Meat by side of such a douchebag who thinks he has to blame Obama and who has to ridiculous press conference with absolute nonsence arguments. Well, typical Fox News arguments.

Honestly, I can't see that one of my favorite musician is participating in a show of such a Glenn-Beck-alike demagogue.

It was so much better when not a single sign of politics was related to Meat. But this is over now and because how I perceive how Americans do politics, mostly the Republicans with their propaganda channel Fox "News".

I even dont blame Meat. Besides that the show is so stupid, he couldn't influence Trumps political activities. But the taste of shit remains.....

When I ever see Meat doing campaign commercials for a hardcore Repulican, such as Chuck Norris (from whom I am highly dissapointed since he has done the commercial for Huckabee), I will delete all my mp3....

Meat has the chance to win $250,000 at the end of CA to benefit The Painted Turtle, which will do worlds of good to many families. Please take a breath and give "your" artist some time until the completion of every task and every episode is run.

And perhaps allow the man some ownership of his own choices? He embarked on CA with motives that were laudable, won money for a brilliant cause, learned a lot about himself, and escaped whole the other side to give thousands of his fans pleasure at concerts in the UK and the USA .. and to start work on another album. Seems to me the artist I follow but don't own has done pretty well for us, and is continuing to do so.

Do I think it was preposterously inappropriate for Trump to bring up the question of his apparent ambition to run the USA as well as the Trump empire? Absolutely. Do I understand the contestants he asked if they'd support him (shortly before they know they would have to return to the boardroom firing session), agreeing? Yes. Trump put them in a ridiculously invidious position. But would Meat voting Republican, or even supporting one, alter my enjoyment of the unwritten contract as a performer that he has with me as a fan, and fulfills to the letter without fail? No. His political views are his business. He's always side-stepped public statements about politics, and frankly, to me Trump's poor judgement in putting them on the spot hasn't changed that.

Absolutely right Caryl and Suzie, I agee. Meat has done himself proud and raised a lot of money for his charity. Apart from one incident, where he was pushed beyond belief, he has handled himself with class and dignity and not backstabbed anyone for his own ends. Unlike most of the other contestants. If he does go on to win, he will have raised a lot of money for his charity, something he feels very passionately about. Trump put them all in an intolerable position and of course they all had no choice but to put their hands up and say they will vote for him. Meat's political views have no bearing on me or change how much I like his music.
