View Full Version : what Meat Loaf song has the best chorus?
I know this is really tough, but what Meat Loaf song do you think has the best chorus?
For comic value, I'd say California.
But, in my humble opinion, what I think is the BEST chorus, I'm going with "It Just Won't Quit".

Right on. "It Just Won't Quit" is such an awesome song about love without even mentioning the word and the chorus is spellbinding.

It's a tricky one, especially with Steinman songs as it's sometimes difficult to figure out what's the chorus and what isn't.
Anyway, at this precise moment in time my votes go to It Just Won't Quit, Out Of The Frying Pan and I'm Gonna Love her For Both Of Us.
DO IT!
(I'm just kidding. :p)

well it depends if you consider 'is it some kind of love?' as part of the chorus or not
but yeah i think it's definitely the best chorus that steinman has written for the Loaf

I don't. I consider it to be background vocals only.

I personally do, but even not counting that its leaps and bounds over any chorus ever written IMHO.

When it's time to get rough, I'm masculine

Its great a majority of people agree with me on IJWQ. for once i feel like I am right. WOOHOO.
and No footage is known to exist. I doubt he even mimed it for TV. if any of us did have footage or a recording they should be fed to the Rancor for not sharing it.

Id have to go with Elvis in Vegas.
I was 12 when i first went to see Meat Loaf at the SECC, and the feelings in the song EIV were exactly the same with me that night.

I dare say Meat has a copy from the Bat 2 tour rehearsals, if the song even made it to the rehearsal stage. Although the chances are it would have featured on Live Around the World if that was the case.
I wouldn't get overly excited about a recording of it from the Storytellers tour ever surfacing as it won't be the full song.
