IMO, BBIS and MATLAF are Meat's best vocals on any album to date. Granted MATLAF sucks donkey poo, but his voice is fantastic.

Overall, going with BBIS cause the songs are better.

You must have different hearing than me because I think Meat's voice sounds a billion times better on HCTB than MATLAF (even though I actually prefer the songs on MATLAF!). HCTB I would therefore have to say. Recently witnessing what he is able to do live on stage at the moment, I'd say his voice in the studio is 100% genuine and pretty much the best it has ever been. It's slightly deeper than the 70s/early 80s but his vocal range pitch and dynamics wise because of that just completely blows me away. Stunning. Give the man some good songs I say!

This poll is easy. Listen to his vocals on FCOL and tell me you can honestly vote for any other album.

I prefer his voice slightly deeper, it sounds so sexy :D

I agree with you Andrew, after seeing him live this year that his voice in the studio is 100% genuine. He was absolutely fantastic on HCTB.

I went with Bat II. However I must admit to having a soft spot for it since that was my first Meat album. However I was soooo surprised with HCTB. He blew me away. at 62. I was so happy for him.

Bat 2 resonates deep in my soul and I will forever love it for that, no matter what Meat does in the future. HCTB comes second to me. Then Bat 1.

It resonates with me too. It takes me back to 93. When I was 8 and first became entranced with this man's voice. And to me....sorry...he's never bettered Bat II.

 Now that's a hard question to answer :wtf:

I've gone with Dead Ringer as i've always found the songs from that album the most difficult to sing

Singing IGLHFBOU is like pulling teeth :bleh:

I too listened to FCOL, which is just one song of the several songs on the album, and voted for something else.

Same here, while I love his voice on all of his albums, I think HCTB exceeds everything else, his voice is spectacular on it!!!!! I really love the depth and maturity his voice has now, it is really sexy!!!!!

thats a bit of a misleading thread title, as its asking for personal preferences...

not just on the vocal, but how that vocal was achieved
