Well they have still got the US second leg in the new year, they could record one of those dates!!!!!

Some shows may have been filmed, as suggested by the advert on the homepage of this site. If I had to guess, then the rest of the PNC show or one of the forthcoming US shows will be made into a bonus disc for Hell In A Handbasket.

My guess is maybe not so much a DVD, but a high chance of a CD release of PNC plus a few bonus tracks.

I hoped for Dublin. But I understand there weren't any camera's :(

Too bad. Meat's best tour since some years and there won't be a proper release:evil:
But hopefully a released cd will happen :-P

Meat posted a while back that he was working hard on a big surprise (actually for Christmas time) ... maybe that has something to do with a blu-ray / DVD release :??:

I was actually thinking about that earlier Carole ... I'd love to see him perform with the Melbourne (sp?) Symphony Orchestra again :))

I only believe what I see / have in hands.

To be honest I think the MSO was probably superfluous to requirements. I can't help thinking that I wouldn't enjoy that DVD any more or less if the orchestra wasn't there.

I'm the opposite. I love the orchestral influences on the songs on MSO. Really add that soaring, epic element to it IMO.

only compaint with MSO is it fels like a song is missing. ir runs a bit short and only two songs from the album its promoting.

I think Tear Me Down could've been right after mercury like it usually was on the tour to give us a third CHSIB song.

Your thinking is weird at times with regards to additions/changes in my opinion. I'm pretty sure that "Tear Me Down" was dropped during/before the UK tour (I never saw a mention of it) and thus I don't think it made it to Oz at all.
Surely if any song should have been added from CHSIB it should have been the single Did I Say That, or are me and AndyK the only people who like and remember that song?!

The setlist on 20/2/2004 was:

Lemon
Mercury
Dead Ringer
Testify (with boys choir)
All Revved Up (with female dancers)
Took The Words
CHSIB
Frying Pan
Anything For Love
For Crying Out Loud
Paradise
Bat

On the 22nd it was Two out of Three instead of FCOL + a different order.

So in a sense you got the full show + extra track on the DVD anyway.

I like that song too. It's been mentioned before that both DIST and possibly Forever Young were rehearsed by the orchestra. I'm not sure how it can feel like there is a song missing when the DVD runs for about 2.5 hours. That's the usual running time for a Meat concert.

Did I Say That was down to be performed I believe but was missed out/dropped from the set.

No, I think it's one of Meat's greatest songs, and a highlight on one of his best albums. Love the music, the lyrics, the clever change in tempo ... and I loved the video too.

I remember it, and I like it....and the video....Especially the few live versions floating around the web. Meat sounds better than the studio version

I absolutely adore Did I Say That... both the song and video. It's my favorite track from CHSIB :-)

Getting back on topic here, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get a HCTB bluray DVD . I wonder if that's the big surprise that Meat posted he was working on :??:

There is audio of "I'd Lie For You" with the MSO but it was left off the dvd for some reason.

If none of this tour has been filmed, it seems like a hell of a shame to not have some official document of Meat on his best form in years - especially since it doesn't look like he'll make it to all his usual territories on this go around.

The first show from New Haven was definitely filmed. Do pay attention at the back! :-P
