It will definitely loose. This board is now controlled by those who like HCTB, some who think it's even better than Bat 1 which is . It's quite unbelievable in my opinion. It's as if Jim Steinman and all of Meat's great prior work never existed. 35 million copies Bat 1, 15 million copies Bat 2, where have all these people gone?!

They are all still here, their just after jumping on the HCTB bandwagon. It'll lose it's wheels when Meat comes out and says he hates it. Then everyone else will hate it, similar to Bat 3.

Given the low sales of HCTB I doubt VERY much Meat will attempt to use the same type of songs on the next album, which he has already confirmed he will be recording soon and risk even lower sales, thus indeed I think what you posted will probably happen. I reckon it is time to go back to the drawing board and try to conjure up the type of songs we saw on WTTN / CHSIB / Bat 3 surely. :!:

I would say the HCTB hate bus is quite full of people from this forum. Many people on here have shown their utter disdain for HCTB. I personally love it, as I do most of Meat's albums, but the beauty of it is that I, like everyone here am free to feel how I want about each of Meat's albums love them or hate them, and at the end of the day, each one of the polls is about nothing more than opinion and personal taste, so everybody step back and take a deep breath, it's all gonna be alright. Being free to think and feel what is like is what makes "life worth living" oops HCTB quote there. :)

I can only speak for myself but when Meat stated he hates Bat 3....I still love the album, despite the recycled Steinman, DC pitfalls and his personal experience of the "making of". I am certainly not going to worry about 3 years from now about what Meat should proclaim about HCTB. I love it now. I cannot vote on these polls because I've overplayed all of these albums to the point of needing new ones every so often. So, if you are right about him coming out later and saying he loathes HCTB, kudos for you to be able to say "I was right...nananana". If that what will make you happy in 3 years from now. Fine, I hope you find your happiness. I live for the day. Lord knows anything can happen and I could be hit by a bus tomorrow (don't wish for it please) and not be able to state my opinion then. Oh wait, it'll be the end of the world in 2012 anyway right??!!!

Keep that vigil Andrew. I will enjoy songs of yesteryear or of today.
why doesnt he just stop the studio stuff and start releasing live materal from teh past? i mean he has so much stuff we would love to see/hear locked away. Getting back to his old time roots is sure to succeed.
its terrible HCTB wasnt as successful as hoped.

The live stuff is beginning to trickle out. Rockpalast this year and Wembley '82 next year.

They're still here. You just can't accept that someone could like HCTB. You don't like HCTB. We get it. I like it. Please accept that. You would like Meat Loaf's next album if it was Capppucino Out Of Hell and each song had one word changed from the original BOOH as long as Steinman adds the word and produces it. Biscuits Can Wait, 9 Out of 10 Ain't bad and Paradise by the Overhead Lights. Can't I like both BOOH 1, 2, 3, 16 and 56 and still like Meat Loaf's other work?
